That's why I've worn nothing but New Balance for a decade or more. Also the fact that I'm a suburban dad.

I have size 14 shoes. I also have a large head, large hands, and a large gut. Unfortunately I also don't have any large parts beyond that list.

I'm on the opposite end as OP, I wear size 14. They are very hard to find since most manufacturers and shoe stores only go up to 13, and a lot of the ones that go to higher have a very limited selection in larger sizes. I would imagine it's similar at the lower end of shoe sizes.

Whenever I see cars/trucks with gun stickers on the back, I assume they are rolling loot drops. Ain't no way I'm advertising what guns I have. Also not leaving my guns unattended anywhere. I spent too much on that shit to leave it out for somebody else to take.

I don't go to Chipotle when I want Mexican food. I go to Chipotle if I want something quick and vaguely Mexican-ish. Just like people don't go to McDonald's or Burger King looking for a good burger.

I use power query and so far haven't found a replacement that works in Linux. Otherwise I would drop MS office altogether.

I have that same issue. My older laptop barely misses the cutoff, even though everything meets the requirements except the cpu. I have a newer laptop with Win11, and the old one runs circles around it. It's faster and has way more RAM, yet somehow won't run 11? I'm going to keep it and just run Linux instead. I'll use the crappy Win11 lappy just for MS office and keeping papers from blowing off my desk.

You can blame the sprinkler head at the bottom of the picture for the lower angled part being at a different angle

Even in the US, there are places that are bike friendly in the winter. Minnesota has a big winter biking culture, both for commuting and for recreation.

I wonder if the smiley faces Costco receipt checkers draw on the back of the receipt if you have a kid with you is also mandatory

Seeing things like this make me happy that I

  • live in a state that banned junk fees.
  • live just far enough outside of a metro area that these services don't deliver to me so I don't have to worry about being tempted to order from them.

Most places I've seen bathrooms with outward opening doors have them set back in an alcove so that it's not opening into a general walkway.

Super minor inconvenience for me and probably not many others. I am still using Boost for Reddit, and will as long as it keeps working, and now that I installed Boost for Lemmy, I have two identical Boost icons. It would be nice if the logo was tweaked, maybe make the rocket green since it's used heavily on the join-lemmy.org website.
