Dating apps have become enshittified and is why they are so ineffective. However, there is a huge opportunity for improvement. The core hypothesis my app is: a pay-per-mutual-match model that aligns user and app incentives. The mutual financial investment also makes users more likely to engage once they match.

My app doesn’t rely on complex algorithms or AI for matchmaking, as they perpetuate biases. Instead, I use a transparent system where users fill out a detailed questionnaire, and I match them based on their answers using SQL queries.

The app is built with open source software (Docker, Django, Flutter, and more!), so no vendor lock-in. This is the first app I ever made so it has been an incredible learning experience.

I have schizophrenia however you won't even know it unless I tell you myself, I only have delusion of reference and delusion of persecution. I feel like people want to harm me or mocking me. I don't hear any voices though which is the major symptom of schizophrenia. I am afraid of water and soap too.

Title. I don’t know what to consider it, whether it stems from body dysmorphia or whatever but I have a general (although not extremely impairing) fear and discomfort of nudity. This may be common, though I haven’t met anyone who’s as uncomfortable with nudity and their own body as I am.

Me: exasperated Are you serious? I caved and gave you what you wanted. Now you're asking for more information? I told you I wanted to do my own shopping, and you fought me on it. I'm making a peace offering by giving you two items to buy for me, and you're saying I need to go find the names and package colors and isle numbers? Please just be satisfied with what I gave you.

The thing that she wants is to feel good about buying me something. But I don't want that. That's the disagreement.

I imagine most people would see me as the asshole here: she can't buy the right item if I don't tell her what it is. But I clearly don't care about those details; if I wanted something specific I would have told her that. The only reason I mentioned them was to appease her. I'm giving her something she wanted, something I wanted for myself, and she's demanding more.

Until last month I was employed for four years. I just used to have a job at a Pizza place as a driver but due to obvious events that place closed down and I remained unemployed for four years until I got a job at Burger King last month.

I was born in July 2006. My baby brother will be born in March 2025. So we’ll be almost 19 years apart. Full-siblings. I live with my parents.

When I was 20 I was diagnosed by a psychologist with having Narcissistic Personality Disorder. At first I was in denial about but over time I come to terms with my narcissism and the diagnosis started to make sense to me. A lot of my problems can be traced back to my unrealistic self image and lack of ability to relate with others.

There's a lot of stigma towards NPD. I hope by making this thread I can help others understand that having NPD doesn't inherently make you a bad person and NPD hurts the person with it as well.

Just going over the various recent posts, most of them are from brand new accounts that then get deleted. Many of them are from people saying they're from foreign countries yet the OP speaks perfect English. In one case I mentioned that the username was the same as a Reddit/Instagram user...

Hell, the most recent one (Kazak person that was kidnapped)? They were taught Kazak and English by their kidnapper? Kazak and Russian sure, but English? I call bullshit.
