Reddit sucks but lemmy is waaaaay more hivemind than even Reddit due to the extremely low numbers and banning over counter arguements. This place is just as hostile and just as much mod abuse goes on over comments they disagree with.

The mod log is terrible, because it’s public and there is no right of reply.

A mod can write anything there and it’s permanent.

Indeed, but power tripping mods are also known, so if you get banned from a power tripping mods nobody would take that into account

I genuinely don’t know what point you are trying to make, or why you follow me around and bring up my modlog whenever we meet.

I don't follow you around, I'm literally the OP of this thread.

Also, checking the modlog is usually a good practice when people complain about moderation.
