"This is the behavior of a crazy person.

Trump is a massive failure as president. He has allowed a genocidal monster to take over the foreign policy of the United States.

Trump has permitted Netanyahu to drag America to the threshold of war with Iran."

Same thing we did when netanyahu was the de facto president last year: Speak truth, get ignored at best and met with hostility most of the time.

[–] aubeynarf 18 points 3 weeks ago (3 children)

This was one of the guys who spent every day agitating against Harris. Kudos, bro!

[–] [email protected] 11 points 3 weeks ago

Great job proving their point.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Like so. Hostility for being against genocide.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago) (1 children)

It's not hostility for being against genocide.

It's hostility for ignoring the genocide you have triggered back in the US. For people who were supposedly against genocide, you sure did help trump get elected, which made the thing you supposedly "care" about, about 100 times worse.

Hope your moral righteousness can stop ICE. But we already saw how it helped the Palestinians, so I doubt it.

It’s not hostility for being against genocide.

Bullshit.

It’s hostility for ignoring the genocide you have triggered back in the US. For people who were supposedly against genocide, you sure did help trump get elected, which made the thing you supposedly “care” about, about 100 times worse.

You just want someone to blame now that your second favorite candidate is carrying out your only policy for you. If people who don't adore everything netanyahu does weren't worth listening to, you don't get to blame us when what we tried to warn you would happen happens.

Hope your moral righteousness can stop ICE.

Your moral cowardice made this happen.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

You know what made this happen is a bunch of so-called leftists who make voting for the President (or even worse, withholding their vote) their only political act.

We could change the world if we’d unite and get involved in primaries and get out and inspire and educate. But instead we sit at our computers and shitpost and laud our own supposed moral superiority and deride other leftists who are only slightly different than us while everything in the real world just gets incrementally worse and worse.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

We could change the world if we’d unite and get involved in primaries

WHAT FUCKING PRIMARIES? We didn't have any last year because your shitty wing of the party decided we shouldn't have a choice. After all, we might choose someone who wasn't hell bent on wiping out Gaza like party leadershit wanted.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

I'm specifically talking about EACH AND EVERY FUCKING PRIMARY. No one except a small bunch of boomers ever bothers to take part in these. You're proving my point by instantly assuming that presidential primaries are the only primaries. This is a crisis that has only been enabled over decades by the apathy and lack of participation of leftists.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 3 weeks ago

You’re proving my point by instantly assuming that presidential primaries are the only primaries.

The party denying us all a choice because they prefer genocide to letting their voters choose their candidate is emblematic of a deeper issue within the party and its primary system. I can provide additional examples of the party's malfeasance during the primaries. That was just the most glaring.

This is a crisis that has only been enabled over decades by the apathy and lack of participation of leftists.

This is a crisis because the party runs dishonest primaries when it deigns to run them at all.

My "moral cowardice" led me to vote for kamala because my trans sister is now fearing for her life.

I hope you can look at your Hispanic friends and tell them you have moral righteousness as they are arrested and shipped off to prison.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 3 weeks ago (2 children)

I voted for Harris too. but since I had the fucking temerity to criticize genocide, you've decided that I'm to blame for her losing.

Hiding behind the vulnerable minorities your party throws under the bus every chance it gets in order to justify genocide is low and shameful.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Oh are you one of the little genocide lovers?

We’ve all seen the data. It wasn’t the anti-genocide side who made you lose, so don’t try to blame us for your fetish.

[–] aubeynarf 10 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

no, you dope. I have the maturity to understand that fighting against Trump’s opponents means Trump wins. Trump is worse genocide than Harris ever would have been.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

So, what's the next atrocity we're not going to be allowed to criticize because centrists all love it?

[–] aubeynarf 10 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

if you keep agitating for far right fascists to be in power I’m sure it will be worse

[–] [email protected] 10 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

centrists sure love to mischaracterize opposition to their genocide as support for their close second choice.

[–] aubeynarf 6 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

OMG you got me so hard!!! Great way to cope with the outcome of your actions.

trying to stick the “genocide” label on anything that’s not your fringe morally-pure choice (if you can even name a choice instead of being anti-everything) will surely result in more effective results!

[–] [email protected] 8 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

trying to stick the “genocide” label on anything that’s not your fringe morally-pure choice

Should have known you're a genocide denialist.

[–] aubeynarf 3 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago) (1 children)

oMG got me again!!! If I don’t agree with you 100% I have personally murdered millions of people!! Every single one died at my hands, because I dropped the bombs and pulled the trigger! I’m so ashamed!

Trump is in office due to people like you though, not me.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Trump is in office due to people like you though, not me.

I love how people like me are simultaneously too small a group to listen to, yet are solely to blame any time centrists lose.

[–] aubeynarf 2 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago) (1 children)

Link to the reply where I said that, Mr. Strawman.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Well, you're blaming the anti-genocide left for the loss the pro-genocide center earned.

That was the comment I just replied to.

If we're to blame, if harris' loss is our doing, then we're kingmakers and you were fools to ignore us.

If we were too insignificant to listen to, then we're too insignificant to blame.

[–] aubeynarf 3 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago) (1 children)

wow, these are exactly the same obtuse arguments that good old universal monk made. You don’t understand you could be a contributing factor?

when you swing from pole to pole in your argument like this, recognizing no middle ground or subtlety, it makes you look like you don’t deeply think about anything.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 3 weeks ago

You don't get to ignore people then blame them when you lose. You don't get to have it both ways.
