Cannot subscribe to communities since the v18 update (lemmy.ca)

Since the update to Version 18, I have been unable to subscribe to any communities (local and federated), with the subscribe button simply not appearing. I am using Firefox 114.0.2 with uBlock Origin running. Anyone know what I might do to fix this issue? Thanks!!!

Edit1: Just tried the same process using Brave Browser, and experiencing the same issue:

Edit2: @floofloof's workaround of searching for the community via the "communities" tab seems to work intermittently on both Chrome and Firefox!

I've also noticed that for me if I open the comments on a random post within the sub, then the button shows up on the sidebar usually. No idea if that will work for anyone else though.
