I hate stories like this because it makes it seem like there's something wrong with being gay.
I get that we're supposed to dislike this guy because he's a hypocrite, but that's not what is written. What's written is "giving a blow job".

If an avowed homophobe turns out to be gay, they should absolutely be called out for their hypocrisy.
I think pointing out the hypocrisy of these people is good overall. I don't think it is saying being gay and giving blow jobs as a man is bad. It is saying someone that is opposing the rights of gay people getting caught having some sort of gay sexual acts shows how ridiculous it is to be against the rights of others to be gay.
It just to show the hipocrisy. Republicans oppose everything homosexual but at the sane time show that it is something some still partake in. If anything, it shows that being a republican is hiding yourself. Giving a blowjob to men is what he opposes, but what he apparently enjoys. The blowjob itself is not the subject of the post.
