Of course they admit it, they didn't win. As soon as they're in power again the electoral system will be OK

Fucking EU always screwing us over. We're still waiting for our £300,000,000 a day for the NHS that the EU is feeding to brown people.. or whatever it was that we were promised

It's definitely not governments lying constantly, right?

Some minorities (and especially homeless) set fire to things just to stay warm. They're the real enemy!

(Don't look at my private jet or business empire plz!)

MICE DIE IN MOUSE TRAPS BECAUSE A METAL BAR SLAMS DOWN AND BREAKS THEIR NECKS.

THE SAME THING HAPPENS WITH POLICE BRUTALITY.

I was doing some building work in my house yesterday and I slowly lost my temper over about 40 minutes but FOR SOME REASON I didn't stop just stop working for the day. Now I have to remove and replace an entire section of my wall because of the damage I caused. It had all just been painted too 😭

I've had a lot of meltdowns and burnouts recently, but I haven't lost my temper like this in years. For me, that's the real symptom of how badly I need a break. I'm not too upset with myself because I know that I would never normally act like this, but I'm still very ashamed. I needed to get this off my chest but I don't want to talk about it to anyone I know.

The moral of the story is that sometimes cheap supplies are shit, and plasterboard walls also suck. I've lived in a stone house most of my life, so it was really surprising to see how easily I could break a wall

WTF is a rural town in the USA? (self.nostupidquestions)
submitted 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) by Worx to c/[email protected]

As a non-American, I'm very confused by this. If it's a town, it's not rural by definition. Because, you-know, it's urban.

Also, could we get a definition of town vs small town. Do you not have the concept of a village? (Village in the UK would be a settlement with a population of a couple of thousand, with usually a pub, local shop, maybe a post office and primary school if you're lucky).

I have a custom creature card in my cube. It's a 0/4 with the text: "Rubblebelt Rioters gets +X/+0, where X is the greatest power among creatures."

If it's the only creature in play, it's a 0/4. If it's in play with a 1/1, then it's a 1/4. Easy so far.

What happens if it's the only creature in play and it has a +1/+1 counter on it? Is it a 1/5? Does it see that the greatest power is 1, so it gives itself +1/+0, then +2/+0, +4/+0 ad infinitum?

I don't know of any real card with a similar static ability to check the rulings for.

I cut my own hair today for the first time and I am so happy with the result. I look like a cute little lesbian with a tomboy haircut and I have been smiling every time I see my reflection. It's was really tricky to get right and it took a long time.. I'm sure someone else could have done a better job.. but I finally look like myself! I put my jewellery back on for the first time in months because I felt like I deserve to look my best.

I got exactly one compliment when I went out today. "Did you cut your hair?" "Yes." "Nice." It's not much but I'll take it xD

On a side note, is this what it feels like to fit your gender? Just knowing I look like this instead of a guy with long hair has made me feel different about so many random things today

Our old printer has finally died and I'm coming with little to no knowledge of what to buy next. Our old printer was HP which required proprietary software to use the scanner and also ran the software on startup which all feels a little icky. Everything I've read about HP lately (as well as the quality of this printer TBH) makes me never want to buy from them again.

Just need something cheap and cheerful to print a couple of invoices a month that doesn't connect to the Internet or have AI or whatever other fancy but (for me) unnecessary features printers are doing now.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions :)

If 90% of the population call them seagulls, and 99% of the population understand what you mean when you say "seagull", then yes, they are actually called seagulls

I've not read the article yet, but I'm going to assume it's affecting my sleep because I'm reading about how it's affecting my sleep at 04:21 instead of, you know, going to sleep. Just a guess

We know this comment by Shannon Martin is correct and sensible because it was reviewed by Shannon Martin! As a licensed insurance agent, I'm sure she is qualified to talk about uh.. electronics.. hmm
