All the sources (1) agree that everybody was kung fu fighting. In addition, no verifiable source mentions that nobody was kung fu fighting. In conclusion, we can assume that everybody was actually kung fu fighting. [I have a PhD in physical anthropology]

Furthermore, everyone was an expert fighter, being all faster than lightning.

[–] [email protected] 14 points 1 year ago

Although, it was a little bit frightening.

[–] [email protected] 18 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Was this before or after the man in the back said "everyone attack"?

[–] [email protected] 13 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Why is everybody not dancing now? I specifically requested it.

[–] [email protected] 12 points 1 year ago (1 children)

You can dance if you want to.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Kung Fu fighting is definitely not safety dancing. At all.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 year ago

It's the year 2145, and dancing has been deemed unsafe due to widespread kung-fu fighting and the NaeNaepocalypse of 2099. AI-controlled synthetic automatons now perform all dance-related functions. Automatic, systematic, full of color, self-contained fembots have eliminated the need for humans to engage in dancing. Captivating stimulating, filled with space age design, rhythmatic and acrobatic, they are dynamite attractions, geared to really blow your mind. Dancing, dancing, dancing.

Several people were kung fu fighting

Their speed was metaphorically lightning

[–] [email protected] 22 points 1 year ago

I must admit I was mildly startled.

But I must also admit their timing was satisfactory.

Ok, is no one going to mention that he is holding a smaller hand to adjust his sunglasses?

[–] [email protected] 39 points 1 year ago (2 children)

AI image generators having to scrape stuff like this and somehow not come up with monstrosities

[–] [email protected] 9 points 1 year ago

"An image of kung fu fighting, please."

Screen full of sunglasses and hands touching said sunglasses to put them better on the face with a face

What

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Not sure if this is sarcasm or a reference I'm not getting, but just in case: It's not AI generated. I know this because the sign in the background is legible. The hand belongs to the woman to his right. The photo was taken right as he was lifting his hand to adjust/remove his sunglasses.

[–] [email protected] 11 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I think they were talking about AI being trained using this image. Like this dude got AI out here thinking people got hands on hands on hands.

My bad. Having ADHD can screw up my reading comprehension pretty badly at times.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 year ago (1 children)

On a closer look, the small hand is the guy behind him holding a phone to his ear

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Is it a different guy? Or is it a second smaller head behind his larger head?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago

A valid interpretation of ambiguous photo. I suppose it's impossible to know for sure.

Everybody that I'm referring to for the purposes of this song was kung fu fighting

[–] [email protected] 23 points 1 year ago (1 children)

From my understanding there were relatively as fast as lightning but clearly not literally.

[–] [email protected] 20 points 1 year ago (1 children)

However, it's not hyperbole to say that it was a little bit frightening.

[–] [email protected] 13 points 1 year ago (1 children)

They may, in fact, not have had true expertise.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago

Wasn't it more like not quite expert timing?

[–] [email protected] 28 points 1 year ago

In this essay I will explain how it is not possible for them to be as fast as lightening. 1/348

[–] [email protected] 26 points 1 year ago (2 children)

They indeed were...and don't call me Shirley.

I also question how fast their moves really were, as it's impossible to be fast as lightning.

[–] [email protected] 21 points 1 year ago (7 children)

Let's say for a minute, that hypothetically, everyone was in fact kung fu fighting. Now statistically speaking of course, this is impossible. Now hypothetically if they were, hypothetically of course. Now, would they all be performing the same so called Kung Fu move? Statistically speaking that is highly unlikely. This would also, hypothetically, be quite dangerous if it were to actually occur. Coming from a medical official, my wife, who is a doctor, she says that hypothetically, this would be dangerous. So, logically, this would not happen. So in fact, there is no way, impossible even, that everybody was Kung Fu Fighting.

I really want to give you a wedgie for typing that

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 year ago

I stole it but I'll take the wedgie anyway.

Now this is a conspiracy theory I can get behind

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 year ago

There must have been at least one guy doing Wing Chun

A healthy amount of skepticism is indeed important.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 year ago

That shirt is not as hard as that Oasis juice box he's holding.
