This is super cute aestheically. Did you use a regular stapler?

Thank you!
I did use a regular stapler indeed. This vinyl was not particularly thick so with some effort that worked.
Sell these as "upcycled" and become rich.

It has character 😉
But... Why?
This is much better than anything I would have made. Great work!
What stops the staples from scratching the fuck out of your phone?
Please take a better look at the photos. Only the hinges are stapled (they do not penetrate through anything given how thick the case is).
Cool! I made one once out of plastic material from a shampoo bottle and baling wire staples, but it didn't look this nice (plus, it had pokey corners).
You know they make cases for phone, right. You can buy them on the internet now
You know you can buy almost anything, right. It's the point of this community to not do that and instead share the joy of making something by yourself. I'm sorry if you didn't get to experience that joy yet.
That is actually a fantastic tip for a community that is called: i bought this.
You made out of cardboard and staples? I hope you don't ever need to use it in the rain.
The cardboard is in between the flooring vinyl to give the case some rigidity. BTW, the bought case i used before was cardboard and some kind of synthetic fabric.
