I'm sure inhumanly was the intended word here. But hyperfocus can sure be inhumane sometimes.
who needs food? this thing Im doing is so interesting I can spend the whole day not eating!
Uhg, I hate when that happens. The worst is when realizing I haven't eaten triggers my aloof interoception and I suddenly start shaking from hunger.
Typo or Freudian slip? We might never know.
At least they both work in their own way.
It's not really fast, we just suffer through inhumane conditions until the thing is done because the thing is the only thing that currently exists. Thats atleast how i feel if i hyperfocus on something. No food, sleep or really anything until it's over and iam a nervous grumpy wreck.
ADHD can really suck but I love my hyperfocus ability when driving long distances.
I am the car and the traffic around me, it feels like Neo navigating the Matrix.
Just don't try to talk to me while I'm at the wheel.
The worst is when I'm hyper focused and my son needs to eat or is late for school and I can't defocus.
