What happens at the gender triple point?

[–] [email protected] 116 points 6 months ago (2 children)

The gender triple point, aka gender superposition, is where a gender can be calculated and estimated, but not observed. Attempting to observe the gender changes it to a different state.

In layman's terms, this is also called "mind your own fucking business, your obsession with my genitals is fucking weird and creepy."

Damn I love science

[–] [email protected] 27 points 6 months ago

That's where you find the bisexual she/theys in hetero relationships.

[–] [email protected] 11 points 6 months ago

Transcendence of gender as a concept entirely

I am I, gender is a social construct I no longer need. My gender can be perceived in infinite variations depending upon the observer.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 6 months ago

All 3 states exist at the same time, rapidly alternating between them.

or gender bose-einstein condensate?

[–] [email protected] 5 points 6 months ago

Gender chain-melted state? Gender superglass? Gender string-net liquid?

[–] [email protected] 4 points 6 months ago
[–] [email protected] 9 points 6 months ago (1 children)

Hmm. I recommend you don't Google that on Bing.

[–] [email protected] 14 points 6 months ago

I Binged it on DuckDuckGo and got really interesting results about gender differences in blood plasma.

gender liquid sounds a lot more suggestive

[–] [email protected] 4 points 6 months ago (2 children)

Well, not really, gases just flow like fluids

[–] [email protected] 28 points 6 months ago (1 children)

That's what makes them fluids

[–] [email protected] 13 points 6 months ago

Duck science.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 6 months ago

I feel like I'm missing a joke because of the downvotes on this comment. Or is the joke science illiteracy?

[–] [email protected] 25 points 6 months ago (2 children)

What about the gender triple point?

[–] [email protected] 20 points 6 months ago
[–] [email protected] 9 points 6 months ago (1 children)

There is no gender triple point because there are only two genders /s

Just kidding, ther obviously is a gender triple point, I just didn't want to admit that my knowledge is too limited to know anything about it.

Solid = conforming

Gas = non-conforming

Fluid = either or both depending on the person at the moment

Super critical = ignores gender as a concept entirely in their self-definition; OR, considers themselves a gender that is based on different standards entirely, like certain religious positions in human cultures where a spiritual leader is considered to be neither/no gender

I was sure this was 196. But Apparently not

[–] [email protected] 17 points 6 months ago (1 children)

Ahh shit I'm not hot enough. Even self-pressuring isn't working :((

[–] [email protected] 4 points 6 months ago (1 children)

Have you tried applying gentle pressure to yourself? It can be very good

Look, all I want to know is at which pressure/temperature I turn into a dragon. And how risky is this, considering spontaneous unicornization?

Does this mean I can specialize in critical gender theory? Wait until the conservatives hear about this one.

Is Ohio the American Bielefeld?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 6 months ago

Ohio is a magical land. It can be whatever you don't want it to be.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 6 months ago (2 children)
  1. Do you know anybody from "Ohio"?
  2. Have you ever been to "Ohio"?
  3. Do you know anybody who has ever been to "Ohio"?

That's what the LGBT Agenda wants you to think.

I'm super critical of gender. Let's get rid of all those. Gender vacuum.

under pressure

[–] [email protected] 9 points 6 months ago

I knew the concept of gender had a scientific basis! That's why people are so sure about the whole paradigm

[–] [email protected] 5 points 6 months ago

Gender gas. I'm gender gas. Final answer, Regis.

Regis? Someone call a doctor!

[–] [email protected] 3 points 6 months ago

You make a good gender critical point.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 6 months ago (1 children)

Hey guys. In high school I graduated with fantastic grades in physics. I have a BSc in Chemical Engineering. Can somebody explain supercritical fluids to me please

[–] [email protected] 4 points 6 months ago (2 children)

A fluid gets too hot and compressed that it forgets it's supposed to be either a liquid or a gas, so it decides to be both.

Someone should make a phase diagram as well. With temperatures on the Y axis and percentage of being gay or straight on the X axis. Like we do fora alloys
