Honestly this is the most believable excuse that I’ve read so far. “Throwing his ‘heart’ to the fans” is that seriously the best these Nazi asshats can come up with?

[–] Darkard@lemmy.world 36 points 2 months ago (1 children)

If he didn't want everyone to think he was a nazi then he would come and tell people that himself, because he would be ashamed and appalled that it has been misconstrued as such. But instead theres random cock suckers tripping over themselves to do it on his behalf like he's incapable of doing it.

Which just means he's fine with people thinking he is a nazi.

Which means that ~~he’s just fine with people thinking that~~ he’s a nazi

The most enthusiastic zeig heil since nineteen forty five

[–] wise_pancake@lemmy.ca 22 points 2 months ago (2 children)

But even then, two hearts? What, is he a Klingon?

[–] phughes@lemmy.ca 16 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Today is a good day (for him) to die.

Maybe its all part of the act. I mean look where it got him.

[–] selokichtli@lemmy.ml 1 points 2 months ago

He's absolutely throwing his heart clearly to his fans! Like a Nazi.

Adding the white man's overbite to it does seem like an innovation.

It's the cyber~~p~~truck of Nazi salutes.

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 11 points 2 months ago

It's the ~~cyberpunk~~ cybertruck of Nazi salutes.

ftfy

[–] blackbrook@mander.xyz 1 points 2 months ago

I never thought to connect those two things, but now that you bring it up, I'm not sure I can picture someone driving a cybertruck without a white man's overbite.

[–] pelespirit@sh.itjust.works 14 points 2 months ago

You'd think the Tesla stock would have gone down more after he did a Nazi salute.

FFS, I've seen this cursed picture about a dozen times in the last four hours.

For something that should had only deserved a short and blunt criticism, followed by complete silence, that individual is getting too much attention.

[–] BedSharkPal@lemmy.ca 47 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Short and blunt? I want to see this shit plastered everywhere so everyone can be called out if they still support him.

[–] qyron@sopuli.xyz 5 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (1 children)

~~However~~ Whoever supports the figure deserves a punch in the mouth and nothing short.

That man and all the hype he is raising needs to be ignored. People like that thrive on raising hell.

P.S

It's official: I'm too tired and already had too much internet for the day. I'm one typo away from raisin.

[–] ZeroCool@slrpnk.net 14 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Let us know how burying your head in the sand works out. The rest of us will be over here dealing with the unfortunate reality of our circumstances.

[–] AngryCommieKender@lemmy.world 5 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Not the previous commenter, but how is punching nazis equivalent to burying your head in the sand?

Even with the typo they seem to be advocating for the proper response to nazis.

[–] ZeroCool@slrpnk.net 7 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

That man and all the hype he is raising needs to be ignored.

That’s the relevant part my comment was addressing. Burying your head in the sand is never the appropriate course of action. This should not need to be explained to you, or the original commenter.

Anger is better than apathy. Let them be angry.

A dozen times is not enough. This needs to be what is pictured when people think of Musk. May he never escape it.

My family, the family I have left, already barely escaped Nazis once. I'm not keen to do it again. The fact that there's been so little coverage of this has been maddening. The milquetoast response from the press, infuriating. There was a time he would have been escorted off that stage in cuffs, but if we were in that time we wouldn't have a criminal rapist as president who admitted to rigging Pennsylvania's election. Anyway I digress. In summary:

[–] ayyy@sh.itjust.works 10 points 2 months ago

I can’t believe the Anti Defamation League almost immediately defended musk. The country of Israel is so desperate to commit genocide that they are even willing to throw hand their faith to the Nazis to do it.

[–] guy@piefed.social 13 points 2 months ago

The man who has the most powerful man in the world in his pocket, controlling a big part of media waiting to buy another big part, coming out as a fucking nazi, deserves only short and blunt criticism?

Dude.

[–] __nobodynowhere@lemm.ee 11 points 2 months ago

Piss off and go hide from the world

[–] sanpedropeddler@sh.itjust.works 8 points 2 months ago

Fuck criticism, this man needs to be shot.

We need a community called "actually posted by the onion" where you would had to check twice to see if it was actually posted by the onion

p.s.: it seems like the artivle wasn't written by the onion
