Good. Her stance on capital gains tax exemptions was absolutely awful and likely would have painted her as an out of touch elite.
Honestly, Carney isn't that different but seems to be doing a better job managing his PR. He's got pretty sus policies but as long as PP isn't the next PM whatever.
I'd vote for the Bloc Quebecois before I'd vote for PP, and I live in Alberta. I mean it too.
Freeland was a too big defender of Trudeau to have a chance to compete with Poilievre
I feel like she's trying hard to distance herself from Trudeau, but after years being right beside him, I doubt she can shake it that easily.
No matter what she does, a huge amount of the country are not that plugged in and won’t know.
Plus she’s competing against Trump for headlines, so her reversing policy goals is not going to beat tarrifs that affect the whole country.
