On a scale from Royale to Charmin how does it feel?

the manufacturer still has that all-too-american bullshit sizing though.

'triple' rolls!!! only 2 sheets short of what was once (and not that long ago) the 'normal' size of 200 sheets. the old 'double' rolls did used to be 400 sheets, and 'triples', 600--and those were big. not all holders could handle them.

i would be asking them to show where the same or comparable product is available for sale that only has 99 sheets per roll. even the 'dollar store' crap has bigger rolls than that.

Thats just how capitalism works tbh, not uniquely American

This isn't necessarily American, just typical popular marketing strategy. It's a Canadian product.

if american paper companies kept the standard packaging sizes which were the same for literal decades before greed got the better of 'em (around 1990 or so is when i noticed the first small incremental changes), i think the canadian companies would have kept them too.

What you're saying is that Canadian companies follow the lead of American companies, and that all lack integrity regardless of which country they come from.

I agree that the world needs to get over its reliance on America. I also believe that you need to take stock of where you're currently at and work from there.

I'll have to keep this in mind. Though bidets have permanently changed our lives, here. :)

Oh baby I love bidets. When I was in Mexico and used them my life changed. When I eventually own my own home I'll be installing one.

You can buy them as toilet seat attachments too. I've used mine in rentals for years!

They sit under the seat and tie into the existing waterline. Super quick to install or remove, I'm not sure if there are Canadian brands unfortunately, but they are really worth it.

I think the one I got is Japanese, but it is fantastic. Heated water, air dryer, the whole nine yards. I only use TP if I'm travelling these days.
