Top tier shit

[–] [email protected] 52 points 2 months ago

I only look at porn that is demeaning to cartoons.

[–] [email protected] 47 points 2 months ago

Wait you consider porn actresses women and not things? /s

[–] [email protected] 39 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Why the hell did the person who made this partially replace Randy Quaid’s face?

[–] [email protected] 10 points 2 months ago

The AI face weirdly looks like the face of the security guard who likes big breasts from Nathan for You. Except Randy's cigar is still hovering there.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Yeah seems to be an emerging trend and I despise it. They're doing face replacement in gifs as well which is particularly annoying. Usually of some streamer trying to self promote.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 months ago

Boy, I sure do love the slow erosion of reality for the sake of self promotion!

[–] [email protected] 32 points 2 months ago (2 children)

But I fantasize about being the topped woman? What now?

[–] [email protected] 24 points 2 months ago

Internalized misogyny, smh

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 months ago

Replace "I" with "someone" and my brother would think you are talking about a complete hypothetical, totally not based on any personal experiences.

[–] [email protected] 20 points 2 months ago

Then it's exclusionary.

[–] [email protected] 20 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (2 children)

“pornagraphy” that’s when they put the emphasis on the first syllable.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 months ago (1 children)
[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 months ago

Ah yes, that would be the venerable Southern US pronunciation, without a doubt. Also possibly used in certain parts of the UK. Quite the treat!

[–] [email protected] 15 points 2 months ago (1 children)

If they chose to do it because they want to, how is that "demeaning"?

[–] [email protected] 16 points 2 months ago (6 children)

It's not that extreme with pornography, but if a black man acted in a KKK propaganda film willingly, the message of the film would still be demeaning for black people.

Even if porn actress are doing that willingly, and even if porn films aren't propaganda, they still convey a vision of womanhood which is demeaning.

It sounds incredibly sexist to me to say it is demeaning specifically to women or that a woman should have to take some image of womanhood into account when expressing her sexuality or herself in general.

Sounds to me more like you are projecting your own internalized sexism onto porn (your belief that woman's sexual expression is demeaning to women for some reason, but not men).

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Man, porn is scripted you know. And by men for men. Porn actresses don't express their sexuality, but the fantasies of the consumers.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (1 children)

No, I don't know. Considering how much of it there is, I am surprised you are able to know all (or most) of it is scripted, and even more that it is by men for men. You must be a true porn expert. /s

Besides, are actresses in normal movies not expressing themselves because the movies are scripted?

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Your argument is the porn version of #NotAllMen 😂

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (1 children)

First of all, don't ignore half my comment. I believe (almost) no consensual porn is demeaning to all women (or "vision of womanhood"). Maybe some is "demeaning" to the actress specifically, but that is it.

Second of all, what even is your argument? What are you arguing for? That some porn being demeaning would mean porn in general is demeaning? Would this apply to movies? Books?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 months ago (3 children)

I'll ignore as much parts of your comments as I want when you don't answer to mine but derail the discussion.

However let's explain. Porn, in its mainstream form, doesn't show a sane form of sexuality, where the desires and needs of all participants are met, but shows women as objects of male pleasure. If, from an individual point of view that doesn't present any problem (I won't kink-shame women, nor men, nor gender fluid people, who like being sexually reified), as a form of media it normalizes a vision of womanhood as essentially inferior to manhood, as women being necessarily at the service of men, and thus is a product and reinforcement of rape culture.

... Or men.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 2 months ago

TBH men in pornography are often treated like garbage. They often undergo irreversible surgeries to compete and still get treated as expendable. While they seem like they're having a good time on camera it's often quite difficult work and requires constant focus.
