We’re a constitutional monarchy not a republic…

The governor generals have made massive political changes in our politics. To say the British monarchy is not involved is completely inaccurate.

Do you have examples of that? In my lifetime they've signed every bill placed in front of them, prorogued every Parliament as requested, and made every party with a plurality government. According to this, Canada's GG has never withheld assent.

And when was the last time they actually chimed in?

Edit: so are we not going to get something that elizabeth or her son Charles have said that was pertinent to our parliament?
