Time to "oops I lost the case because I missed a filing deadline" all those pro bono nazi cases they just promised
...after law firm bent the knee and pledged to advance White Supremacy
Disgusting
Breathtakingly cheery headline there, Associated Press.
Jesus. They had to promise to promote white supremacism and defend fascists, or the new Nazi regime would have crushed them out of existence for their impermissible assistance to democratic forces. And we all know that "countering antisemitism" would be great if it meant what it says, but it doesn't mean what it says.
Also, there goes AP again with the blandest headline ever for a shocking story.
the law firm is finished the moment they support trump and when his presidency ends, no clients will trust them anymore.
Nah there are always rich oligarchs looking for lawyers, no shortage of clients even in peacetime.
Fucking bribery.
Maybe they'll do what Trump does. Just agree to it and then don't do it.
With a huge side helping of mafia style blackmail. They stopped hiding it a long time ago.
Extortion, corruption, and wielding the government against his enemies.
"Yeah, gee, it'd be a real shame if someone came in and messed up your nice place of business here. But you know what? We can protect you from those sorts of lowlifes. We sell, you could say, a type of insurance to protect you against that happening."
Does everyone roll over for this guy? No one has a backbone?
Not any people with money. You don't get rich by having principles.
And a law firm depending on federal contracts doesn't make much when the President singles you out and threatens to end you. I mean sure, you could try and fight it in court, but if he rigs the judiciary against you your outcome isn't promising.
How much do you want to get exported to a south american labour camp ?
What. The. Fuck.
It's OK, this is what the majority of American voters chose.
voted in by a plurality, not quite 50% +1 —still means GOP won the big enchilada in 2024
