Russia only sees NATO as a threat because Russia wants to invade. If Russia didn't want to invade, they could even join NATO and protect the countries from invasion of others 🤷
Any sincere commitment is welcomed. (read it as : is it a sincere commitment ? i really can't say.)
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni reiterated calls for extending NATO's Article 5 security guarantees to Ukraine, arguing that doing so would demonstrate whether Russia is serious about peace, she said in a speech to the Italian Chamber of Deputies on March 19.
But I thought thhat Russia doesn't invade? That they only defend their land?
Granted they think all the former Soviet states as their land so....
