Cult MTL on Bluesky

Pierre Poilievre has essentially turned the CPC into an alt-right party.

“Conservatives are by far the most likely to have positive impressions of Trump and Elon Musk, and make up almost the entire population who want Canada to become the 51st state. We know who the traitors are.”

Wait a minute... there are Canadians who actually want Canada ro be a part of the US?

Why the hell would anyone want that? What sort of psycho/moron looks at a country that's essentially speedrunning every possible way a country can destroy itself simultaneously and thinks, "Oh yeah - I want to be part of that?"

The effective number of parties in Canada is currently 2.76 and declining - a trend that threatens democratic diversity. Unless we implement proportional representation, we're likely heading toward a two-party system that will further constrain political discourse and representation.

Only Green🟢/NDP🟧 consistently support proportional representation.

Heard an interview with Maxime Bernier on thev radio the other day. There's basically no difference between his and PP's party.

Sure there is. PP has better branding and the advantage of having control over a legacy party to capture the "I always vote conservative, because that's what my father and grandfather did" crowd

Now is the time to be getting information from Canadian Owned and Operated media.

There will be disinformation campaigns unlike any other election.
