I usually treat a path as a series of dereference operations. You could protect /secure/... with credential checks, and report 403 at that point, before even looking at the rest of the resource path. It exposes the prefix but not the multiple endpoints that might exist below that point.

Exactly -- these items of clothing are not even religious, they are cultural! Cultural cleansing under the cover of state secularism.

No, it is not. Invasion is a military incursion. Annexation is not a military incursion. If one sounds less bad than the other, you're reading that in. People aren't minimizing by referring to annexation and invasion as different things.
