Holy hell. "One group is not like the others", but in a bad way! Are Cons just ignorant, or do they choose to be this way?

Quite literally, the headline: "Nature Tops List of Most Resonant Sources of National Identity"

Yet, Conservatives seem to overwhelmingly believe that we should not be funding the protection of nature and biodiversity (per the same article).

And nearly half are “not concerned” about Trump annexing Canada. What boulder are these people living under?

Of course not. A lot of them are salivating at the thought. Polievere is literally running the Republican playbook right now; the CPC voters are either voting CPC because they just check that box and don't think about it very much, or they're actively repugnant people who look at what's going on in the US and unironically think, "I wish that were me."

I think its one of those you don't know what you got til its gone. They love being able to go camp in the woods and escape the city but also want companies to have to follow no environmental laws or regulations to maximize profits. All that is great until the nature filled campground they brought their kids too is just stumps and an acidified lake from a lack of environmental regulations by the time their kids are adults.

Nobody talks about multiculturalism any more, I think people have forgotten what it is — including many people who live in the midst of it.
