I know it's not my normal taste in vehicles, but it's so ugly I want it!

New in 1992 mind you

That thing is huge. Looks like it should seat 12

It’s like a Chevy Lumina rear ended a Toyota Previa

The description on the site is almost like a parody.

Was planned to have a 5l V12. Are we just going to gloss over that?!

The Columbus, dedicated to Christopher Columbus, was a 7-seater MPV van designed as an ultra-high level status vehicle ideal for the urban scenarios of the United States.

This will appeal to precisely nobody.

The year was 1992. Chevy Astro vans were decked out as Explorers for kid-hauling duty. The more car-like minivan hadn't quite hit it's prime and the crossover/SUV craze hadn't taken foot in suburbs. I could see this monster making some sales. I mean, the Pontiac Trans Sport/Chevy Lumina Van made some sales and could be stylistic cousins

We’re talking about an era when this thing had sex appeal

Here me out, make it bright yellow and sprays confetti out of the exhaust!

Change your mind?

Honestly seems appropriate for a car named after Columbus. Maybe it's hideous as an art piece? A metacommentary on the horrors of slavery/capitalism?

Isn't that one called Cybertruck?

Beautiful. I want to frame your comment.

Did they collaborate with Chrysler on that Voyager III concept because this thing is almost identical looking.

Does italdesign translate to train shaped?

[–] [email protected] 4 points 3 days ago (1 children)

...I want to put a lift kit on it so I can look down at big truck people from a van.

Also needs truck/train horn on it.

You are a legend and a hero!!

This abomination is so ugly it almost takes the crown from the Fiat Multipla and Tesla Cybertruck.

That rim sure is nostalgic.
