Airports are infrastructure buildings. This is like seeing a billboard telling you not to hatecrime gay people and boycotting the highway.

Wait, gay people are allowed to use highways? Next you'll be saying gay trash is mixed with my trash in the truck. My pearls have been clutched so hard they're powder.
I have gender-neutral toilets in my house, so do all my friends
In fact, every household I've been in had gender-neutral toilets
They worked out fine
I've had creepy guys stare at my dick in men-only toilets, I've never had a problem with it in gender-neutral
It stands to reason that the problem is segregated toilets
(actually, it's men, but I'm sure even here there will be the "nOt AlL mEn!" types)
Can we just get a bathroom design where they are a wall of stalls with a urinal and toilet inside and the hand washing station is on the outside without a door blocking the path? I hate bathroom doors after washing hands, especially when they don't have a way to open the doors without touching the handle. Just put the sinks outside the bathroom.
I have been to places with this layout.
Private stalls. Sinks and hand washing open and visible to the hallway. Nobody feels threatrned or uncomfortable.
Nobody feels threatrned or uncomfortable
And that makes conservatives feel threatened and uncomfortable.
Can someone explain what this title is supposed to mean?
The implication is that the complainant is in an airport, and airports use PA announcements for things - in this case, trying to get some logic to the complainant so they understand that the airplane bathrooms are also 'all gender' and their complaint isn't logical
Is the parking lot gendered?
Family bathrooms are also great. Once flew with my intellectually disabled sister who fucking fingerpainted a rest stop stall on a previous trip when my mother broke her arm chasing her to the bathroom and she was left to her own devices. This time I brought gloves and wet wipes and there was a little suite kinda thing. I didn't need the child size toilet or the breastfeeding couch but the nice big accessible area around the adult toilet was good to have. She wasn't constipated that time so I didn't have to stop her from digging it out manually again but man; if I'd had to I totally could've! 10/10 would use a family bathroom again.
I welcome unisex bathrooms but that's kind of a false comparison. Airplane bathrooms aren't communal, only one person can use the room at a time
How do you define "communal"? In Europe it's common to have fully enclosed "stalls" (basically rooms in themselves) - either with their own sinks or the sinks are indeed outside and shared by all.
Maybe we should respect people as humans and not have a max efficiency, lowest cost design where people shit and piss at a trough like fucking cattle. What if the real problem always was that capitalists treat people like animals who dont deserve privacy. What if from the get-go we had designed public spaces to have many fully private bathrooms and allowed people to potty in privacy instead of trying to save money? What would the world look like if we asked the right questions?
"Outside" is the original unisex bathroom
