find a healthy outlet for your mind, a hobby, or two or ten.
I'm no monarchist but this sort of ceremonial thing is way cheaper than the legal mess of revising the law to be Crown-less would be. It's harmless fun for some people.
We've got more important things to do.
The only reason Canada is still part of the commonwealth (these are the correct terms, I hope) is out of apathy rather than any desire to serve a family of inbreds.
