If you go check out conservative communities on the internet, you’ll find and endless stream of men talking about sexual violence towards Greta. It’s really disturbing and gives you an idea of how their brain works.
So here is a trick, when you hear about people saying that they are on the left but are tired of hearing about her, you can tell they are full of shit. Why? Because actual media will report on her actions because she has celebrity activist status. But they stop when the events stop. Conservatives media will harp on her in a creepy way for months without any pushing. Am radio will drop her name like they blame Obama for covid.
High school thinking would dictate that they were attracted to her from the get-go. As in when she was 16. I've seen too much evidence to not just put that thought to bed. These folks project like a flashlight.
I've seen some absolutly crazy shit from Alberta consevatives a couple of years ago. Basically bumper stickers calling for the rape of a 16 years old. And these people think of themself as representative of familly values and freedom of speech. We got to get ready to throw some punches folks, some people are beyond saving.

No not even close. I mean no disrespect to Greta nor do I want to diminish her accomplishments in any way. The risk at which she does this is however incomparable to the Scholl siblings. There has never been the risk of a death sentence or anything remotely close to that.
There is a high chance she will be killed by Israel for her attempt at helping Palestine.

Eehhh, she's on a boat sailing to deliver supplies to Gaza. Do you know what Israelis do to people that do this? They shoot at government representatives from allied countries that come to observe, they murder journalists for breakfast, and there is an extremely realistic chance she will be murdered or maimed as the Israeli army doesn't give a shit about who she is or what she's about to do. They'll murder her and then come up with some bullshit story about how violent she was.
This is an army that slaughtered ambulance workers that came to a call to help. A boy who was captured before saw this and was murdered only days after as the ambulance thing became a bit of a news problem. This is an army of psychopaths that don't give a shit.
To say that there isn't a death sentence at the end of this trip is disingenuous.

I think she prefers sail boats rather than fuel burning boats, so it’s going to be difficult for them to turn around and pick her up if she falls in.

He is right though, please at all times wear life jackets on boats - regardless if that is on sailing or motorised vessels! It is extremely hard to stay afloat and alive until the crew is in a state to help. It happens way too often and even to experienced sailors.
Being right doesn't make it appropriate. The context of a message is important and having such a statement about such a person in such a situation met with a comment like that is ridiculous.

Sailboats have motors that can reverse. No it isn't hard to turn around unless they're in a savage storm or extremely large waves. Which judging by the picture they aren't. At all.
The smaller the ship the easier it is to maneuver.

I hope all our politicians are paying attention. That's how you solve problems and earn admiration. I'm sure everyone of our politicians can swim just fine. But do they got the balls to confront chaos to save people in need?
They neither have the balls nor any desire. Our leaders are, to a one, weak men and women seeking only to shove as much money in their pockets as possible before their hopefully swift and "un"timely guillotine-enabled deaths.

As I understand it, her parents are well off but I don't see them being insanely rich. I also see Greta herself basicat not spending all that much as she actually seems to put her money where her mouth is; something not seen often anymore.
It makes it a lot easier for sure if your parents have some money, but it's not a requirement.
Comments like yours distract from the actual fact that she is actually sailing straight at an actual marine fleet from a country known to actually murder anyone that tries to stop them from committing actual fucking genocide. There is an actual non zero chance that she'll be dead or maimed before this is over and she knows this and is there anyway.
