Locking due to rule 6. Cudos to everyone for making the thread reasonably level headed anyway - All participants earn four points.

Nope, absolutely not, and I would have been extremely surprised if he had been an option at all since he isn't in any way established in the political world here in Sweden

[–] [email protected] 3 points 4 days ago* (last edited 4 days ago)

Doesn't Sweden have a pretty damn right wing government, though?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 4 days ago (1 children)

What, y’all don’t have write-ins?!

[–] [email protected] 2 points 4 days ago* (last edited 4 days ago)

You can take a blank ballot, and write the name of the political party you want to vote for, and it will be counted.

Trump did not participate in the latest Swedish election, so it would be impossible for any one to submit a valid ballot for Trump.

Not current US politics. Election happened 7 months ago.

Not current US politics. Election happened 7 months ago.

I know, with TikTok brains becoming the norm 7 months ago may seems like veeeeery ancient history, but isn't Trump the current US president? Isn't his election the active presidential election? Trump is US politics, dude.

So, come on, if you want to troll try at least to put in some efforts.

7 months ago is current politics? That’s a stretch. You must not pay attention to what’s going on in the world. A LOT more current events. Nice try silly goose.

Like I expected, TikTok brain at its best.

Have the best day you can, despite being what you are ;)

What am I?

Since you care about rules so much:

Not sure why you can’t just be a cool person. It’s not difficult to be nice. There are lots of resources out there to help you with whatever might inhibit you from being a nice, empathetic person. Let me know if you need help finding mental health resources. I know it can be hard.

Currently, which US politician is serving as president?

Also if we want to split hairs, the presidential election was 7 months ago, but you specified "this last election"

Which for about half of US states means a 2025 primary election. Not to mention all of the non US lemmings who might have had more recent elections in their own countries.

And I sure hope none of them voted for Trump because he wouldn't have been on any of those ballots.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 4 days ago

Damn you really trying so hard to make a point. If somebody is really confused about what I’m talking about then they got bigger problems than whether 7 months ago is considered a current event or not.

[–] [email protected] 23 points 4 days ago* (last edited 4 days ago)

Does anybody here support Nazis?

I would hope not

[–] [email protected] 18 points 4 days ago

You have to be truly brain-dead or evil to vote for him. He doesn't even pretend to be good! At least Dems pretend, which means getting swindled by them is not as insulting.

[–] [email protected] 17 points 4 days ago* (last edited 4 days ago) (2 children)

Of course not. Voted against him in 2016 an 2020 too.

Oh wait, did I fail a loyalty test?

[–] [email protected] 9 points 4 days ago

Same. I thought he was terrible as a candidate. Confirmed beyond doubt once elected. Don't think there will be many alt right types in the feddieverse.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 4 days ago

You passed the one that matters: you're interested in having a democracy.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 4 days ago

Nobody going to say yes here. Maybe ask in reddit

Admiral Ackbar says what

(I've never voted R in my life)

[–] [email protected] 12 points 4 days ago (2 children)

I voted R exactly once in a local race. In the previous election during the Tea Party wave, an utter nutcase ousted the usual Republican for the party nomination for county judge. The guy was a menace, the worst, and was openly corrupt. In the next primary, the usual Republican won the primary, but the nutcase decided to run as an independent. I voted for the R once and only once, to keep the nutcase from getting a second term.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 4 days ago

That's pretty legit, good job imo

[–] [email protected] 1 points 4 days ago* (last edited 4 days ago)

i heard many people voted R to get rid of the crazies, but they support the complete opposite of the alt-right, this is in response to massive voter suppression in thier states. i wonder if people should do it more often, become a registered R just to vote for someone less crazy than a magat.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 4 days ago (2 children)

Everybody in my circle (college educated mid super class) voted against.. only people.in my " circle " that voted for him are brainshashws christians or technicians at work el that have read 1 book in their lives.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 4 days ago (1 children)

That book being "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" I assume?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 4 days ago (1 children)

I get that reference.

I read the book just after it was published. it had some good advice in it.

that said, the kinds of people who read it generally turned into fascist supporting shitheels.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 4 days ago

You mean mid upper? If not, what’s super class?

[–] [email protected] 4 points 4 days ago

No. Come at me, ICE!

[–] [email protected] 4 points 4 days ago

I know people who did, but I did not. I suspect I know a bunch of people who voted for him.
