Don't drop any details if you're aware of actual community defense preparations at the No Kings protests...but the organizers of these protests are libbed up as hell. ~~No way they're working with any armed community defense groups.~~ It looks like the Salt Lake City protest organizers actually did work with a volunteer peacekeeping group, and the fatality was a bystander killed by a bullet meant to stop the gunman.

Yep the violent Nazi started a gun fight that as expected got an innocent killed. While I can't imagine what their family is going through, thank God that was all that happened. That bystander was a casualty of their war. The peaceful protestors didn't declare that war.

Being armed is a way to command respect and demand attention in the political world.
They were working with the armed defense group that stopped a mass shooting in Utah and the 50501 spokesperson said the designated armed defense groups were a regular part of the protests.
I can't speak for every group, but from reading about the incident at the Salt Lake City protest it was an armed guard that shot the would-be shooter and unfortunately killed the bystander
RIP to Mr. Ah Loo. This shouldn't have fucking happened, and hopefully there will be accountability for this. Beyond that, I'm going to hold off on commenting until more details come out.

╱╰━━━╯Over the weekend at least one car drove through a No Kings protest (in NC I think), at least one person was killed in a shooting at a protest (in UT), two Democratic politicians were shot in MN (one killed). This is more than just talk.
To be fair, the person shot & killed at the march was an accident trying to stop a shooter, and the kid who drove the car hurt at most one person who didn't need emergency services. The one with a real agenda was the killer dressed as a cop who had delusions of killing 50+ without realizing he'd be hunted down and caught after the first.
Yes, they're getting violent, and yes, they have plans, but don't give them any more credit than they deserve and scare people. Don't over- or underestimate your enemy.
