Thank you for giving me a straight answer!

I don't think it's from New Girl... Do you remember which episode?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 20 hours ago (1 children)

I don't. What do you think it's from?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 20 hours ago (1 children)

I don't recognize it or the guy in it, that's why I didn't think it was New Girl. It's probably from something I haven't seen.

I understand! The more I look at the clip, the lees sure I am this is New Girl. I thought the guy was Max Greenfield but I'm not so sure anymore.

Some stupid American show that has laugh tracks because its humour wouldn't be able to stand up on its own, probably.

But, for real. Thank you.

What platforms don't see it (or which one in this case, anyway)?

Tbh I thought it was a bunch of non-lemmy platforms (e.g., mbin which fedia.io runs - anecdotally it usually happens due to some types of edits not federating well), but if someone from infosec.pub (which runs lemmy) also had the problem then I'm actually not sure what the common factor is lol

edit: the common factor might just be instances that have blocked lemmy.ml, which currently includes fedia.io (my instance) and infosec.pub (the other commenter's instance), though I'm surprised links to lemmy.ml's hosted images are included in the block

It shows for me but without animation, my server is federated w ml

Ah, yeah ml blocking seems to be what's done it. That makes sense. Thanks- I was curious.
