The world's richest man had some harsh words for Donald Trump's so-called "big, beautiful" bill on Saturday.

Elon Musk worked with Trump for months after the election, only to have a spectacular blow-up after his exit from the White House. That public fight began due to Musk's criticism of Trump's signature bill.

Musk appeared to make up with Trump, and started holding his tongue more. It has been weeks since reporters have had anything to say about Musk criticizing Trump or his legislation.

They look like they deserve the spicy deflator.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 11 hours ago

Why is anyone listening to what Elon says?
Any interview with Elon needs to start with "You said Trump was in the Epstein logs, is that true or did you make it up?" Followed by "Why would you support and work for a person in the Epstein logs?"

It is, but him saying that is an obvious attempt to buy back his reputation. His clock stopped at the Nazi salute. But even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 13 hours ago (1 children)

What the fuck is up with Musk's upside down smile? How does he even manage that?

[–] [email protected] 14 points 12 hours ago

It could be, perhaps, that his heart was two sizes too small.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 12 hours ago

Elon doesn't care, he is putting on a show, Dude got his own piece of texas with governing powers.

[–] [email protected] 24 points 18 hours ago
[–] [email protected] 6 points 13 hours ago

Don’t worry. Trump and musk will make up in a few weeks. Musk will return.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 14 hours ago

Oh, really, Lonnie? Should I care about your opinions? Because I fucking don't.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 15 hours ago

He doesn't give a single fuck. He's just mad he got sidelined.

[–] [email protected] 40 points 21 hours ago (2 children)

Broke silence to say the same thing he said before going silent?

[–] [email protected] 7 points 17 hours ago (1 children)

Yeah I had to check the date. Didn't he already say the exact same thing before?

[–] [email protected] 4 points 12 hours ago

Yes, he did. Then apologized and was expecting a cookie and a pat.

He didn't get it and had too much/little ketamime and here we are again.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 19 hours ago (1 children)

seems like he is going through a periodic drug use/abstinence wave

[–] [email protected] 1 points 12 hours ago (1 children)

.....ok? Why are you mentioning this?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 12 hours ago

as a possible explanation for his behaviour

[–] [email protected] 119 points 1 day ago (1 children)

'Utterly insane and destructive' describes everything that has happened since Trump's inauguration.

[–] [email protected] 18 points 1 day ago

Yeah, that's S.O.P. for this entire administration... which makes everything feel infinitely worse...

[–] [email protected] 15 points 19 hours ago (2 children)

So, i am confused. If Musk says something is bad - then it must be good, right? But that thing is coming from Trump, meaning it certainly must be horrible shit. So much confusion!

[–] [email protected] 8 points 17 hours ago (1 children)

It's as bad as Elon is saying! He's just upset it isn't worse, he was promised it would be worse, and that he'd get a lot of money, but they left him out so he's really disappointed.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 17 hours ago

Ah, thank you! Now I see the way!

[–] [email protected] 2 points 18 hours ago

The circus is there as a distraction

[–] [email protected] 16 points 19 hours ago (1 children)

The Nazis just mad he’s no longer part of the genocide. He needs to goose step his ass back to South Africa by foot and without a boat or plane.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 12 hours ago

Maybe his pee really is clean now and he's just realizing how fucking nuts he was.

Nah that's even more crazy.

[–] [email protected] 80 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Those words would’ve been worth more had he also not gone “utterly insane and destructive” during his time in government.

[–] [email protected] 44 points 1 day ago (1 children)

They're still worth some because it shows MAGA is starting to fracture. Even die hards like MTG are now against the bill. You know, after they passed it in the house without reading it.

[–] [email protected] 16 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I can't believe I'm playing defense for MTG but, voting for the bill in the House was a low risk action because there was absolute certainty that there would have to be back and forth with the Senate. The vote in the house was basically a vote to get the process started in the Senate.

The bill as a whole though is still absolute shit stuffed with one horror after another. I do hold everyone who voted for it responsible for that. I just don't think it's a big deal that she voted for some specific aspects that she later opposed. That's just how the process of Omnibus bills works.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 16 hours ago (1 children)

I do hold everyone who voted for it responsible for that.

How about those who didn't vote?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 14 hours ago

Are you referring to the three ancient Democratic House members that died in office? It does seem a little vindictive to blame them, but I guess it wouldn't be unreasonable. It might make more sense to blame the Democratic voters who keep renominating these decrepit fucks.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 20 hours ago

Musk also said he loves Trump as much as a straight man can love another man so he seems willing to say whatever bullshit he feels like he needs to say to accomplish his goal in any given moment.

If only his every waking minute were agonizingly painful to him... Damn, that would be poetic.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 19 hours ago

That could explain the drug use, hopefully.

[–] [email protected] 21 points 22 hours ago

The guy got the guy elected. Now he has to get him unelected.

I agree but I still hate you

Some more WWE-like wrestling soap opera drama. None of this is going to affect him at the end of the day and he's such a try-hard for verification. He acts like he can't do anything about this bill, but will happily bank roll Nazi idealist parties all over the world. He helped kill a bill in Congress already and he's not even an elected official. Again, now that he is out of the inner circle, he's trying to be "cool" by acting like nothing happened.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 22 hours ago

Oh, this is all going to affect him. Not in the way he likes.

The guy formerly in the inner circle is soon going to realize that he made the entire government consist of inner circles. Dictatorships don't run on laws.

Those laws primarily protect the rich.

The country of laws that existed four years ago served Elon more than it served any other individual. But because there were a few laws he didn't like, he helped to destroy all of it.

We're all going to pay for that, Elon included most of all.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 day ago (1 children)
[–] [email protected] 7 points 21 hours ago

Yeah, the guy doesn't shut the fuck up, it's weird to use that phrasing. In fact, he criticised this same bill before the house vote.

He paid a quarter billion dollar only to get the predictable outcome of putting Republicans in charge.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 day ago (2 children)

If a billionaire doesn't like it... I feel like I should like it.

[–] [email protected] 13 points 1 day ago

The enemy of your enemy isn't always your friend.

[–] [email protected] 12 points 1 day ago

Definitely not the case here.
