Pretty much all the night Animal Crossing music (Wild World in particular for me)
Beacon Pines (Spotify)
I didn't play it, but my wife and kid did, but the music really stood out to me when it was playing in the background. The tracks, Memories and Lullaby complement each other really well.
Sable (Spotify)
The soundtrack by Japanese Breakfast was one of the best parts of the game. A very solid mostly wordless ambient pop album. But the standout track is Glide. The song itself is fantastic but the moment it plays the game is so damn perfect. The whole soundtrack did an incredible job setting the tone for a slightly flawed but chill atmospheric adventure game.

Stardew Valley
C418's music (Minecraft vol. Alpha & Beta)
"Secunda" from the Skyrim OST
"Schala's Theme" from Chrono Trigger
Some songs of the Hotline Miami soundtrack
Not from a game, but absolutely fantastic:
"Promises" by Floating Points, Pharoah Sanders 🪦 and the London Symphony Orchestra
Oh and almost forgot: Til A Mermaid Drags You Under by Mary Lattimore is a must listen, just trust me on this one and don't skim through it.
No one has mentioned Journey yet? Wowza.
Honorable mention for Abzu as well
The music from Outer Wilds. Scintillating music for a sublime game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9wSAWuhaJ4o
There's a handful of frantic, battle music pieces in there so you might want to cull it to just the relaxing pieces, but I absolutely adore this soundtrack.
Doubling down on this. Jeremy Soule almost died in a car accident. After barely surviving it he worked on the Oblivion Soundtrack and had a mission: Making his work a celebration of life.
And if you ask me, he fucking nailed that part.
He has some amazing work, IIRC he did Guild Wars as well
Oh wow, I didn't know abot his backstory. Oblivion and Skyrim would probably be very different games if he hadn't survived that accident.
Pokemon soundtrack.
So many great route and city tracks.
Ff7 Tifa's theme
Hollow Knight soundtrack done on piano is basically one epic chill track after another. Some are fast paced and more energetic though.
FTL sound track is also chill and amazing.
Same for the Ori soundtrack.
Honourable mentions: Axiom Verge and Sim City 3000
The underwater level music from both DKC and Mario 64.
Back in the day when I played Anarchy Online 24/7, when it was time to sleep I used to travel to this area named Varmint Woods so I could sleep to the music and the ambience.
