Works for me on the vanilla lemmy.world web site. Maybe whatever client you're using is scuffed, or doesn't support it.

On Sync it's so inconsistent. I've definitely seen spoiler tags work. But I also frequently see them broken, while other comments are saying they work.
Maybe it only works if the post is on my instance?

That was surprisingly easy to find. Less than 5 seconds, and I'm easily stumped by these kinds of things. One of the beans looks like it has a toothy smile just up and to the left of him and I zeroed in on that first.
