FPTP is the real winner here. It's why we have Trump. Why can't we vote for proportional representatives or ranked choice?

I'm confused, I thought they didn't like each other? Almost as if it's all fake sentiment and the real game is the corporate sponsorship. Watching Obama yuck it up with Trump lately was a slap in face. Holy shit, could it be any more obvious. You already have alternatives to the status quo, just vote for them.

First past the post is not democracy, it's kleptocracy.

If it's the particular words that are the issue you have a bigger problem than just helping the poor, which is a laudable goal. Hups, I just used an obscure word and alienated the dummies.

A favourite cognitive bias is the role of emotions in persuasion and decision making. Arguments are much more persuasive if they make us feel good, regardless of the evidence.

It's interesting to watch an AI reason these issues because we're reasonably sure it doesn't have feelings and should be immune to the pitfalls of having an ego.

The Americans found an unfinished Nazi research project on LSD and took the obvious next step, added it to the list of crimes against humanity. No, wait, that's not what happened.

The history of LSD is tragic, given what we now know about its therapeutic properties. Tripped by Norman Ohler is an interesting text on the subject.

It wasn't blue on blue. It was vested interests Vs a genuine candidate. The state of NY voted trump in, not because they like him, because they didn't want the democrat party. This party as a tool of the corporations is finished. You're watching its death throes.

Feeling concern for the welfare of a corporation is a lot like caring for a lion or some other large predator. You don't want to see it suffer but you know that it could turn on you at any moment, when it's convenient for them.
