It is when it comes to Twitter. They've tinkered with Grok to block reality to better suit whatever Musk believes is true.

That's probably the closest to support/press there is from that shit hole.

Oh boy many of your comments are downvoted. Sounds like you need to find your own safe space?

I'm a big fan of Sync app. It was formerly a Reddit app. It doesn't get much updates but it's fully functional for my needs.

Many of us were Redditors once.

That's the beauty of it.

The drama I prefer is power tripping mods who hate your username, hates that you use acronyms, and hates your server.

The drama I dont want is power tripping developers of Lemmy telling end users (us) what we can/can't post using the software.

HB-1 visas. Work for Musk, and they may get to stay.

Also India is a big country. There's a lot of competition. During 2022 when we were hiring by the butt load, I interviewed a bunch of devs who were fired from other tech companies. Most of the applicants were indians and many even outright told me that they used to work 70-100 hours in their last job and wouldn't have a problem doing that if they were hired.

Stop spreading misinformation.

You need warm pigeon blood, followed by a strict diet of roasted onions and three hail Marys.

Every single company.

All it takes is your favorite company to suddenly be run by a CEO who wants to maximize profits or increase shareholder value, or worse, think they're God's Gift to the World. Or in the flip side, they're fighting for survival so they have to make scummy decisions to keep afloat.

Yeah the people I know who own boats have it in their garage/near their house/storage unit.

I mean it's only 3 people.

And I just named all 3 locations.

I don't know that many boat people.

I remember a craiglist post (from like 2000s) that was for a small boat. It was like $600 a month on a payment plan, or $30000 total.

I was in college looking for a place to rent, just a bed. And I really thought about living on a small boat.

Last year, my CEO said if we finish the project on time, he'll buy a new truck and bring it around the office for everyone to check it out.

This would be his 20th truck he bought.
