They are well trained in thuggery and how to evade legal consequences. 80% of cops wouldn't know discipline or acting through adversity if it knocked their teeth out, and the 20% that do learned it in the military.

The comment I replied to appeared to suggest that if everyone together brandished firearms at the cops as a show of force, the cops would simply slink away in fear without a shot being fired or anyone being further hurt. Something I would not count on.
There's a reason they're using 6-12 officers to arrest one middle-aged mother. They know the communities they enter hate them and they are terrified of bystanders ganging up on them or worse, ambushing them with firearms.
I don't think there is a "peaceful show of force" in this scenario. The second a cop sees a civilian carrying a long arm walking up to them, pistols are leaving their holsters and they'll start screaming commands just like they're trained. The first shot fired is inevitable from there.
Sure, they want more racists, especially armed racists, to close ranks with for when the coup goes from administrative to paramilitary. That's why I have the feeling that these people coming in are a special breed of violent ideation.
But will their shared hatred of nonwhites and progressive globalism be enough to form bonds with Americans? They're still foreigners moving to a foreign land at the end of the day.
My gut instinct is telling me these are the kinds of people from the era of Soldier of Fortune and shooting at UN peacekeepers for a paycheck. "Rugged individualist" ranchers who've been willing to beat "the coloreds" back with automatic rifle fire for years.

One thing's almost for certain, MAGA isn't doing this out of the kindness of their hearts. They will expect payment for services rendered. I'd keep an eye on the professional background of these people to get an idea of what form that payment will take.
