I can see simply voicing dissent can result in a ban on Reddit. Has happened easily to me and likely others. Fuck Reddit.
As a veteran I disagree with the war criminal comment just as I disagree with you saying you should serve before judging.
People who join are split into thirds; a third are actually drunk off the Kool aid who believe the USA is God's endowment, a third are there because lack of economical opportunities back home, and the last third are trying to get out of their shit situation, whether it be near homelessness or abuse.
It's by design from the government to make us citizens desperate enough to sign our lives away for a chance to have our heads above water.
Government is more interested in using your body as a meat shield than educating you.
I'm a veteran and a minority as well. It's great knowing more than 1 language because I can claim a different country that speaks my language as my own to avoid the negative association of being an American.
I also get discounts speaking my native tongue compared to white folks who come blaring in disrespectfully.
Beautiful name because it's a riff off of Thelonious Monk, a beautiful jazz musician that I place in my top 3 of musicians. Other two being John Coltrane and Miles Davis. Honorable mention would be Chet Baker as he is definitely up there, but listening to Chet just brings you into a whole different mood. Much preferable on a gloomy, rainy day with a cup of coffee or tea in hand.
Anyways, Fuck Nazi's.
I got banned from Reddit for suggesting doing what the French did. I got banned for that suggestive language despite a corporation having no qualms in harboring actual Nazi's who spread their message through loose doublespeak.
Free speech is not a right on social media, especially a privately owned forum that wants you to stay longer on their site for advertisement money.
I was banned for saying fascists need to be hung, appeal rejected. While you got that r/conservative sub and others like it being well, fascist and calling for Liberals demise.
Seems to me Reddit is a OK with hate speech as long as you hate the right kind.
