Godspeed Yuki!

Glad to see @[email protected] around again, thank you for all you've done to bring Boost to Lemmy.

Are there any plans to build in Admin functionality like viewing and processing new user applications, voting data, etc? Some of the other apps offer this functionality and it would be greatly appreciated if you could add them to Boost. If it's too niche of a request I understand but I'm sure I'm not the only one who would appreciate it.

Thanks again for the continued work. Looking forward to what the future brings to Boost.

FWIW the names are often intentionally hidden through a setting in the Lemmy admin panel.

Holy shit this is the first I've heard of Playlet. Giving it a go now and it's already impressive.

The thing is, this isn't new. This might be the most aggressive move we've seen them make so far but it's one in a long line of crazy expectations from their drivers.

Yuki should've been moved first and it was stupid that he wasn't. That tells prospects at Racing Bulls (this is so gross to say) all they need to know. The drama there has been playing out season after season and Red Bull has plenty of history showing how they handle drivers.

It's likely to continue until they lose Max or land the next generational talent.

I don't think it's a major offense to reply in your own language but since most of Lemmy is English speaking I try to respect the spaces that are clearly meant for something else.

I like to translate what I'm posting to whatever language the community is using. If I mention I'm using a translator the OP or another commenter will reply in English if they feel comfortable. [email protected] is one that comes to mind where this has happened in the past.

I agree.

Lemmy is still finding its feet and I think things like this will improve as it continues to grow and mature.

While Lemmy has been around since before the reddit drama, many of the large surges in users have been reddit refugees. As a result a lot of the apps we have are ports of reddit apps that the devs slapped together in a hurry to let users pivot to Lemmy. As time passes we're seeing a number of new apps pop up with Lemmy specific features, and some of the older apps are still/finally being updated to be more feature rich.

The software Lemmy runs is also changing fairly rapidly so there's some feature disparity between the webui and the various apps. Part of the normal growth process for a younger social media imo, but frustrating at times.
