Not with that attitude

I remember the moment I realised my fancy new Walkman could read data CD-Rs and I could fit all my mp3s into one 700mb disc. I felt insane, majestic, limitless.

Or concept instead of idea.

A concept is the thinking that underlies the idea, or sometimes kind of an interlocking system of ideas that form an understanding.

And I've run out of anger about utilise instead of use. Don't even have the energy to wri

It's difficult not to mouth off, but perhaps worth the effort.

My 6yo will look for an object for approximately 0.25 seconds before yelling to ask where it is. Sometimes he can't even spot things I'm pointing directly at.

Other times I'm taken off guard by his quick wit or long memory.

Wisdom always comes at a cost. We should not shame those who are still saving up for the down payment.

It's got to be the difference in stress. Evil dudes just don't stress about the stuff we do. Yemen? Palestine? Ukraine? Black Lives who? They don't mind any of it.

YMMV. I can avoid the tankies and the Linux crowd are pretty chill overall, but avoid debating art at all costs.

It worked mostly almost adequate for 2 out of 3 Venture kids...

Wouldn't the correct and proper thing be to invade them first and ask after? Just trying to make sure we're all using the same yardstick

Let's go to every part of Russia and ask if they want to be part of Russia. It's only fair.

I think you're barking up the right tree, but the way I'd put it is this: it gives people the ability to imitate an aesthetic without ever engaging with the thinking that underlies that aesthetic. It's almost inherently anti intellectual, in that way.

Ghibli's art comes from a profound love for liveliness, wonder, nature, and beauty that also respects the pain endured by its subjects. People talk shit on Ghibli as "the Disney of anime" but it's a backhanded compliment at worst because I think they're obliquely referring to how well Miyazaki executes on those feelings.

Crumb shot to follow in a couple hours

As title says. I want to really soak in that high-minded worldview today.

My algorithm in a nutshell. I might have delved too deeply.

Made this as a quick sketch for my kid, decided to do a quick touch-up in GIMP for printing it again later.

Many stretch and folds (almost pretending I was making pan de cristal) later, this is a stupidly soft crust. Like a Neapolitan style.

I'm going to try this again soon with slightly lower hydration, more oil, more heat, and a pre-bake of the crust without toppings so it gets more of a chance to grow. Any suggestions are very welcome.

I basically was winging it with this recipe. Did one stretch and fold because it was so wet. Spent an hour in my improvised banetton. Mostly just playing with my new little Dutch oven but it might be my prettiest crusty loaf ever
