Everything about this movie just drips style and shockingly clever editing.

And then the movie is Basket Case. It's like the exact opposite of The Room.

Nothing is ever really over. There is always change and we don't know what's gonna happen just what is happening.

I mean he was already a nepo baby prick pretending to be blue collar. And he very clearly had issues with people of color and firearms.

But I think the stroke made him feel more emboldened to not have to listen to others or made him more over confident in his own mental fortitude. It sure makes it look like he never intended to actually help anyone, and I think he would have just hid it better pre-stroke.

He's unfortunately not. Just a liar and a prick in a time where we are easily fooled because of our few good options.

They started with a budget of 16,000 dollars and apparently you can see it cause it's the wad of cash they pull out at the beginning of the film.

Just cause it's amazing, I don't think it negates it as clear B movie.

Yes.

It reminds me of gremlins in just the best ways. The characters feel real even if they are absolutely a character. The acting is wildly all over the place from awesome to, "we grabbed them off the street and gave them a line".

I am in absolute love with this movie. Style, quirkiness, slappy camp, and exploitation of whatever it takes to keep you interested.
It straight up reminded me of reading Preacher.

To paraphrase the director, if the scene can't be scary, make it funny, if it can't be funny, shock the audience.

The tenant in room 7 is very small, very twisted, and very mad.

On a budget of what can be found in the protagonist's pocket, Basket Case is the story of a boy and his wicker basket on a hunt for revenge against the doctors who made him the freak he isn't.

Oh just brag about stealing my wife, why don't you!

I get it. Their smiles are definitely fake.

But nope, that's just the finest Turkish silk (literally) in a nice 4 leaf fold. Though I'm preferential to a 2 point puff, it's cooler and looks less AI generic

And you have a problem resulting to insults when you are not being understood rather than trying harder to communicate.

Oh I am not really one for sarcasm unless for comedic purpose. Hyperbole, sure.
But, I wear my emotions on my sleeves and when I thank someone or tell them off I mean it entirely. I'm here for the conversation and I appreciate you having it with me.

Oh shoot forgot to say.

Thanks for the conversation. I feel more, I want to say expanded, in my view on voting and it's usefulness for those that remain more silent than myself.

Told to resign from the vice chair or resign from calling out bad octogenarian DNC members. And then they made the decision for him.

Apparently DNC chair Ken Martin cried to Hogg that his chances of raising money and looking like a leader has been crushed by this, in a leaked call.
Ignoring that this is a projection and example of his leadership.

As a reminder 3 members of the DNC have died over the age of 70 this year already.

This is from the same RocketJump of Freddie Wong YouTube fame and will be having apparently a very limited (as of now) one day running theaters on March 7th.

I think it looks so interesting. I love me some indie sci-fi films.

The amount of people who are all giving "reasons" why they are gonna be ok to treat others with contempt and apathy towards any suffering just means you wanted an excuse to not care all along, not that you are morally superior.

You will still look like an asshole to anyone that isn't informed and to the people who didn't agree with you in the first place.

If you actually care you keep trying, stop pretending minute crusades are anything but.

I mean seriously. What the heck is this?

None of the boxes I clicked on helped and it just kept making more dancing hippos appear each time.

These have to be the least accurate things I have ever seen.

The rectangular one is accurate or accurate enough and has been what I used but I noticed files all had cutouts for these round hygrometers...

Well from my 6 pack 1 is within a margin of error to even be useful.

I get they aren't expensive but seems like a waste of money for this bad.

Which is to say, not very far on this at all but I think I have a good idea on how have my cake and eat it too for desiccant for my spools.

I am finding I can't get the humidity below about 50% in my AMS and the silica I am using needs constant refreshing.

Well it seems there is stuff called activated alumina that is pretty good and honestly about the same costs as silica beads, but I need to be able to put it in the oven to refresh it. Which doesn't work well with my 3d printed desiccant holders.

Insert, cheap tea strainers.
It seems I can get ones that are 4cm in width by 6cm in height that are made out of stainless steel that I can actually put straight in the oven.

So, I am working on getting the parts and items but was wondering if anyone else has done this or have any suggestions before I start grabbing stuff?

Zone 7B.... I think it's been a bit warm out.

So, I'm trying to print some older models from thingiverse and I have discovered that basically all the files I want to print have glaring flaws in them.

Internal free floating structures, connector pieces and holes that are the exact same size... So on and so forth...

Do I need to learn a software like CAD or Blender to fix these? I seem to be able to do some basic stuff in Orca Slicer but it honestly seems like as much of a pain to modify the parts there as it would be to use a real software.

Is there one that's easier? I think I messed around with SketchUp once upon a time.

I am worried this feels like opening a can of worms just so that I can make a thing that already exists in a dozen forms better.

Kamala Harris was seen by many as simply continuity Joe Biden, a president who has long had a negative approval rating. When asked last month what she would have done differently from Biden, Harris answered: “There is not a thing that comes to mind in terms of – and I’ve been a part of most of the decisions that have had impact.”

There was no clear vision, no shared rage with the American people at the state of the country: if there was anything deeply wrong with the US, her campaign seemed to suggest, it was the existence of the Trumpist movement, and voting for Harris could finally turn the page on that.

The part that the Democrats missed again and again is that the issue with America is not just that people were and are willing to vote for Trump. It was never gonna be over just because he wasn't elected. Despite that being the message from large amounts of DNC leaders and commentators.

We can blame voters all we want but at millions of people that becomes a concept more than a specific person or group to blame. There are problems that need to be solved with more than status quo and centrism. And it doesn't start and end with Trump.

I hope we remember that as we see more of him than ever.
