I had that happen after I told the IT manager who always showed up drunk that his flash drives weren't working because he couldn't expect to buy an 8 pack of 1TB flash drives of amazon for $30 and that he was at worst handing out viruses.

I also told the interns to demand full time positions for doing all the work and not be taken advantage of so that didn't help with the HR director.

Life imprisonment I have always felt is the crueler of the punishments. A stretched out monotony that makes a day last the rest of a lifetime that warps and mushes the brain.

But also I do still get making a statement out of the death penalty for direct statements of what a society will not accept.

Then make the first effort to stop doing that.

Clearly. You compared adjusting even a part of your life to living in the dunps and trashing it completely. You are clearly self centered and wouldn't care.

So, you are a gross person and I don't expect you to care.

Duh, and still ew.

And also clearly you. As you seem to have decided you won't participate until every single one of the other billions do.

Yeah we managed to just put the slave workers behind a further layer of obfuscation. Not just relegated to their own quarters or part of town but to a different city altogether or even continent.

Tech dreams have become about a complete lack of humanity.

Under what proof are Democrats pressurable?

Like, actually.
One party seems to be have actually adjusted its party to match the citizens requests and has an average age of their house leaders over 20 years younger.
Not for the better but change happened. Where is that present in the DNC?

Yeah I think people miss how much of trumpers are Gen X as well as Boomers and Gen X are the much more active support.

What a pompous jerk

Microsoft cancelled 200 megawatts of new data centers last month. But that seems to be arguments with OpenAI, not total AI use going down. The numbers are still only going up.

The article is about how they are committing to using more gas to power their data centers and how they have already blown past their carbon threshold for the year already.

Very brief article.

Its funny I tried basically all those and none of them could survive or compete against my neighbors accidental thistle farm.
Not even the mint.

This is from the same RocketJump of Freddie Wong YouTube fame and will be having apparently a very limited (as of now) one day running theaters on March 7th.

I think it looks so interesting. I love me some indie sci-fi films.

The amount of people who are all giving "reasons" why they are gonna be ok to treat others with contempt and apathy towards any suffering just means you wanted an excuse to not care all along, not that you are morally superior.

You will still look like an asshole to anyone that isn't informed and to the people who didn't agree with you in the first place.

If you actually care you keep trying, stop pretending minute crusades are anything but.

I mean seriously. What the heck is this?

None of the boxes I clicked on helped and it just kept making more dancing hippos appear each time.

These have to be the least accurate things I have ever seen.

The rectangular one is accurate or accurate enough and has been what I used but I noticed files all had cutouts for these round hygrometers...

Well from my 6 pack 1 is within a margin of error to even be useful.

I get they aren't expensive but seems like a waste of money for this bad.

Which is to say, not very far on this at all but I think I have a good idea on how have my cake and eat it too for desiccant for my spools.

I am finding I can't get the humidity below about 50% in my AMS and the silica I am using needs constant refreshing.

Well it seems there is stuff called activated alumina that is pretty good and honestly about the same costs as silica beads, but I need to be able to put it in the oven to refresh it. Which doesn't work well with my 3d printed desiccant holders.

Insert, cheap tea strainers.
It seems I can get ones that are 4cm in width by 6cm in height that are made out of stainless steel that I can actually put straight in the oven.

So, I am working on getting the parts and items but was wondering if anyone else has done this or have any suggestions before I start grabbing stuff?

Zone 7B.... I think it's been a bit warm out.

So, I'm trying to print some older models from thingiverse and I have discovered that basically all the files I want to print have glaring flaws in them.

Internal free floating structures, connector pieces and holes that are the exact same size... So on and so forth...

Do I need to learn a software like CAD or Blender to fix these? I seem to be able to do some basic stuff in Orca Slicer but it honestly seems like as much of a pain to modify the parts there as it would be to use a real software.

Is there one that's easier? I think I messed around with SketchUp once upon a time.

I am worried this feels like opening a can of worms just so that I can make a thing that already exists in a dozen forms better.

Kamala Harris was seen by many as simply continuity Joe Biden, a president who has long had a negative approval rating. When asked last month what she would have done differently from Biden, Harris answered: “There is not a thing that comes to mind in terms of – and I’ve been a part of most of the decisions that have had impact.”

There was no clear vision, no shared rage with the American people at the state of the country: if there was anything deeply wrong with the US, her campaign seemed to suggest, it was the existence of the Trumpist movement, and voting for Harris could finally turn the page on that.

The part that the Democrats missed again and again is that the issue with America is not just that people were and are willing to vote for Trump. It was never gonna be over just because he wasn't elected. Despite that being the message from large amounts of DNC leaders and commentators.

We can blame voters all we want but at millions of people that becomes a concept more than a specific person or group to blame. There are problems that need to be solved with more than status quo and centrism. And it doesn't start and end with Trump.

I hope we remember that as we see more of him than ever.

Truly a pretty terrible place for any kind of social activity.

People here are super self righteous and unwavering in their beliefs, quick to insult others and be generally bitchy, pedantic and quick to dogpile. Worst of all while still usually slightly wrong about a thing, but unwilling to hear it.

It's basically the worst parts of reddit users where we have boiled it down to the most affluent or socially insecure.

Even if it's as simple as a question people jump to defend their position with insults rather than answer it cause they get worried the person might be confused and it's best to just make sure it's a closed community as quick as possible.

This isn't an open community it's a private gated one where everyone jumped the fence and is scared that the wrong person might have come in with them.

Condescending is not welcoming.
Upvoting cause they are your in group isn't community.
Berating outcasts cause you at least don't feel like them is still bullying.

Man, what else have I missed?
