My first thought would likely be how am I going to pay this maid, then second thought would likely be that I guess I haven't been paying her much because she can't afford clothes. Then 45 minutes later Id realize I was a dunce that didn't realize she was trying to be suggestive.

Decent digital currency wouldnt use much electricity and would stop hyperinflation occuring in countries experiencing extreme issues. Being that taxes are standardly on income and sales, where is it you are saying they are dodging taxes? (Bitcoin isn't a good digital currency, but neither should a decent one be run by the country)

76% of Republicans support a dictatorship is what it says.

Not only that, but the same document that was protecting the rights of the people being illegally deported, is what protects those Republicans rights as well. Free speech, press, arms, privacy, jury, fair trial, and more. 78% are saying they would wave their rights to a dictator. It's extremely short sighted

I've been wondering whether Musk not being an actual representative would land him in a non-protected role from repercussions. Say the U.S. population sueing him for losing the $500 billion the IRS talked about. How much would be fair? Penny for penny. Leave him hundreds of billions in debt and he'd hopefully he'd call it time to step down and leave the U.S. because he couldn't afford to have security details or even a house.

Unfortunately if he did so Trump would pick his replacement. So it wouldn't be any better.

It's probably the choice I would have to go with, but when I was working with full boxes a lot, I started caring more about which pens were sturdy sharp enough to stab through tape and drag through it 50 times an hour and not end up looking at the end of your pen and find out the tip ripped off. Switching to a box knife over and over slows you down a lot and I needed the pen to cross out and document what was missing from the orders. Pens with caps are a pain for that as well, waste time.

I probably should have tried to find something like this: https://atechgo.com/products/multitool-pen-9-in-1-box-cutter?variant=31317899149448&srsltid=AfmBOorxxFa__k_qsBl8iPIi6kKPJc6A4Ah6nJ8WZ7gm3JZhWGj1qBZ_1AY

A pint in the U.S. is 16oz. What's a British pint?

For us it is 2 cups in a pint 2 pints in a quart 4 quarts in a gallon. (People seem to struggle with remembering that until you tell them quart as in quarter, or 4 in a dollar etc)

Weights are fucked, but I usually just remember 16oz is a pound. Only drug users and chemists remember 28 grams in an ounce. So an 8 ball (1/8th is 3.5 grams). And depending on where you are ranges from 110-240 dollars. So you go to the store and buy a bottle of liquor (sold in metric units, and the store owner will stupidly call it a half gallon) but it's 1.75L, 1L or 750ml for $20-30. And you'll pass out 2 days later super dehydrated upset you wasted all your money.

Yeah really our productivity in those terms just dropped to 2016 levels.

Now if you compare to Argentina's struggles. People can see why there were so many people trying to get out of there. They weren't criminals being sent out of their prisons, they were people fleeing a giant recession that left them starving.

The circled area is the blip that your source is referring to. The giant drop before it is from during Trump's first term. Everyone thought we were going to hit a recessesion that would be a big issue. As you can see it was fixed extremely quickly. The wall street journal leans right and was using it as propaganda to promote Republican efforts.

Half the worlds bingo cards are already full

So my eggs are usually pretty set in size, and it is hard to tell in the photo but one of my hens missed a day (unusual for her) and I assumed it was because it was cold and maybe she'd slow her laying as I am used to raising chickens in Florida, and now in the Nashville area so it has been in the 20s at night lately. The next day she laid this mammoth egg. This batch(?) of chickens is young so I getting to know them still. Should I be concerned for any reason about this, or is it possible she is still growing and is just going to lay Jumbo sized eggs in the future?
