There are hundreds (at least!) versions of the bible, and that's just in English. Would have to make sure it's exactly the same one.

It looks like a code even when not trying to.

The concept for this is called Steganography and that article has several examples, but most would be difficult without tools/references.

The easiest would be stuff like using certain letters of words or word lengths as mentioned in some other comments here.

With the full strength of my American education, here's what I've got:

I think it's in or near Asia?

(Of course my own ignorance is really my fault.)

You're doing magic eye style parallel view, the image is formatted for cross-view (which this community is for) - try literally crossing your eyes and then uncross enough to merge the images.

And human eyes/brains aren't good enough anyway. The whole hype about self-driving cars was that they were supposed to be better than humans.

Perhaps the value was from elsewhere in the conversation and could have just as well been a variable in the formula, so they were referencing where it came from by spelling it out.

That comment just missed the word 'even' - as in they don't even have radar, and that's on regular non-self-driving cars, and lidar would be a step above that.

I'm 'lucky' my state makes its own electricity. (Mostly not fuel dependent either, so don't need other states.)

The links inside the linked post are relative links, such as xkcd which is a link to /c/[email protected]

Boost does not open them when tapped, flashing an error instead.

There are unfortunately some subreddits which are still the best place to find timely info about certain topics - for example video game subs run by the developers of the game. Lemmit is a way to subscribe to those while not giving Reddit any more "engagement" or ad views.

The bot that runs Lemmit only posts on its own instance, so users like me only see it when we subscribe explicitly (or the All view I guess, but that's a mixed bag already. Edit: and each user could choose to ban it if they want)
