I have long fantasized about doing this exact same thing, especially to MAGA-types who somehow got my address and are mailing me requests for donations. Someone in those groups as well as THE SALVATION ARMY have discovered that those postage guaranteed reply envelopes cost money and prompt this response. So now all that stuff requires a stamp if you want to reply. I hope that's cut down on their fundraising efforts.

When I make Scampi, I use the shells to make a shrimp stock to cook the shrimp and butter. Broiling jumbo shrimp with Bay's Seasoning in the shell means I take the shell off before eating it.

It's not quite the same thing to have a company like Signal leave the UK market vs. Cook telling the PM to suck his balls, then geofencing the Mac Store and iCloud from UK IP addresses. Given what Apple does in China to keep selling there, I wonder what they'll end up doing. Did they do that in Russia?

I read a post on Mastodon from someone in Ontario Canada that was proposing shutting off all export of oil and electricity to the US. The thing that made me doubt this was they were also calling for impeaching 45 (again!). That would leave Vance which scares me even more.
My father's career advise to my brother and me was "Make lots of money so I can come live with you when I get old."
My brother didn't like that advise so he did a bunch of research and asked a bunch of people about their careers. He got a masters in an Engineering field but hated working in that field. So he got another masters. He doesn't use it for his career.
I studied Chemistry and left grad school to do software development with no degree in it (it was the 80s). I never used my degree either.
Confronting my dad about his bad career advise would have just gotten his Standard Response to Criticism™--But I'm lovable.
And no he never lived with either of us. But then he never go old.

I wonder if anyone in the Badminstration, specifically the Department of Agriculture, have thought about all the crops that will go unharvested in the fields starting around August because migrants won't go out to pick them for fear of being deported by ICE.
