Are these guys Labour like the UK's Labour (basically a centre-right wing party in disguise these days), or are they legitimately a left-wing pro socialist workers rights party, like Labour should be?

If the latter, good for them! They deserve good things over there.

But an extra SIM card with data is only like £6 a month on a monthly rolling account, all one would have to do is have one or two less lattes to make up for is and it's all good.

I would love to see more connectivity options in our devices, including tablets!

Isn't that everyone, more or less? We all need a balance between spending time with others, and time by ourselves.

If I don't get an appropriate amount of both on a regular basis I go crazy.

At least the robots on the packing line will be alive, the rest of us - as no longer needed labour - will be dead, haha.

The electric car revolution is over.

Ah yes, I forgot that the USA is the only country in the world, my mistake.

I watched a match of American Football (kinda rugby with body armour).

It was soooo boring and went on FOREVER. They had a few tiny exciting parts, but they've got more than one referee and they're constantly stopping the match to put down flags and discuss things and just generally do nothing, it ruins the flow of the game and leaves the observer with nothing to watch or do.

INCREDIBLY boring. So glad there was a model aeroplane show going on right behind the pitch and a bar, I was able to enjoy my pint and watch the planed fly around whole I waited for the American thing to get going again every time.

Why would they want to "influence elections"?

Sounds shady.

Hard to say. It's 1 or 3.

2 has an annoying bulbous handle that upsets the balance and the tines take up too much of the fork space, leaving too little room for the little shovel bit at the back that can hold things that might fall through the tines a bit better,

5 is an utter nightmare of awful.

To answer your question:

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c9qwez9zz7jo

The Insurrection Act of 1807 allows the president to use active-duty military personnel to perform law-enforcement duties inside the US.

Once invoked, troops could be tasked with a range of duties, from quelling civil unrest and enforcing court orders to arresting and detaining migrants.

Because the Insurrection Act was written in broad terms, with little specific guidance on how and when the powers can be used, it gives presidents wide latitude in deciding when to mobilise military personnel for domestic operations.

Time to bring in the army to oppress the citizenry. Hoo rah!

Don't you think he looks tired?

Hello fellow Boosters! :-D

Apologies if I'm missing something obvious here, 😅 I saved a comment I'd like to go back to the other day but don't recall exactly what it was (darn my poor ADHD memory), and so I wanted to scroll through my saved/favourited comments to find it.

When I go to the "Saved" tab it lets me scroll through saved posts, but I can't find any way to switch to scrolling through saved comments, so I'm not sure how I'd go about finding them?

Thanks!
