Don't you all kind of hate it when the unknown is this unknown? I mean, I know that a completely known unknown is way more boring, but I'd also like to know just a little bit about the unknown, just a little to pique my interest, or at least to assess how risky it is to head into that unknown...
I admire your character's bravery. If I found an unknown unknown, I'd be terrified to even be 5 meters (16ft) from it. (Once again if it weren't that unknown, I'd consider it.) But your character has the guts to (possibly) risk their life for what is yet to be discovered. I wonder what is their motivation, though... Or is there none? People sometimes just get sucked into unknowns without any way to espace, I hate it when it happens...
