I think that's my favourite Lovecraftian type movie. It took me till years (maybe a couple decades) later to learn of Lovecraft and then I realized exactly why I enjoyed it so much.

If ever there was an old movie IP that would absolutely rip as a video game, it's defo "In the Mouth of Madness"

I think it could work in a similar way that Detroit Become Human did, basically a story with some impactful choices to make replayability but it'd be more difficult if they restricted it to a single person which those stories usually do, so maybe an Agatha Christie style get together of perspectives without a way to leave. Maybe close to Amnesia but I didn't make it far in that one, I get nervous in those games lol.

Edit if someone implements the game from this idea I'll gladly accept a free copy. Though to be fair I'll probably buy one on a steam sale anyways.
