You know, if Elon wouldn't have had gender affirming care in the form of hair plugs... πŸ€”

Better example would be the plastic surgery on his jaw

[–] muntedcrocodile@lemm.ee 6 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago) (4 children)

Hows tgat gender affirming? Its not like only men have hair on their head.

EDIT: Why are u booing me im right

[–] dragonfucker@lemmy.nz 14 points 3 months ago

The kind of man Elon wants to be has hair on his head. There's many ways to be a man and Elon wants a specific one.

[–] Letstakealook@lemm.ee 10 points 3 months ago

I think sometimes folks just go overboard and end up making what would be valid points into easily dismissed statements. Given our societal norms, hair would be more gender affirming if an individual is presenting as feminine. A better example for men would be treatment for low t.

[–] NaevaTheRat@vegantheoryclub.org 8 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Yeah the hair isn't exactly, but the T and HGH is.

I think he might have had maxillofacial surgery too, but it could just be the HGH.

[–] anomnom@sh.itjust.works 5 points 3 months ago

Is that why his chest looks so fucked up too?

[–] belated_frog_pants@beehaw.org 7 points 3 months ago

Baldness in men is seen as a failing somehow despite it being largely uncontrollable.

Him getting his hair done to feel more attractive and like himself is affirming surgery.

You are not wrong that anyone can get hair restoration and any human type can have hairloss. Male pattern baldness is another category.

The thing people are saying this is about him modifying his body to be happier but trying to deny others the ability to so so legally.

Hm. That would insinuate that Trump is Jesus, and that’s not the message I feel we should be sending.

[–] blaue_Fledermaus@mstdn.io 32 points 3 months ago (2 children)

He's for certain an Antichrist.

[–] asteriskeverything@lemmy.world 12 points 3 months ago (1 children)

I can't ever turn down the opportunity to share this site

[–] blaue_Fledermaus@mstdn.io 4 points 3 months ago (2 children)

Amazing. The one problem is that when the Bible explicitly uses "Antichrist" it is plural.

[–] bobs_monkey@lemm.ee 2 points 3 months ago

I mean, we're about to get a round 2...

Like maybe a church organization, that backs trump and has a ton of political influence, such as Liberty University and their churches

[–] Someonelol@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 3 months ago

Would that make Musk the Anti Judas?

[–] Zeshade@lemmy.world 4 points 3 months ago (1 children)

I understood it more as Musk betraying his previous fanbase. Those that used to think that he was a positive force, investing in cool things. Before he revealed himself as a deranged asshole.

[–] nepenthes@lemmy.world 2 points 3 months ago

Same. Dude started off on the semblance-of-sanity side and then betrayed logic and science in multiple stunning acts of pure idiocy.

This is Judas-as-metaphor, not picture The Last Supper.

[–] CosmicTurtle0@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago) (1 children)

Here me out: Judas betrays Jesus.

Not saying you're wrong. But I'm willing to let the man speak.

[–] dohpaz42@lemmy.world 3 points 3 months ago

I’m fine with the betrayal part. It’s the deification of the asshole Trump I have a huge problem with.

[–] Szyler@lemmy.world 1 points 3 months ago

So trump will go to heaven in April?

[–] dalekcaan@lemm.ee 1 points 3 months ago

That, or Jesus was the American people and we're in a post-betrayal world, which I guess would make Trump Pontius Pilate.

[–] WeirdGoesPro@lemmy.dbzer0.com 43 points 3 months ago (2 children)

I can’t believe I googled this.

For those like me, I found that this does not seem to have even a shred of truthβ€”there is no alternate reconstituted face of Judas, nor is this one mentioned anywhere.

[–] roguetrick@lemmy.world 13 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Well what the hell were they actually going to base it off of. I don't think there's any churches claiming the skull of Judas as one of their relics.

[–] WeirdGoesPro@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 3 months ago

There is no evidence for the Jesus pictures either, but I at least assumed it was another one of those half baked renditions based on genetic data from the region and basic biblical descriptions.

[–] psud@aussie.zone 1 points 3 months ago

It's from a parody news site. It's a joke

[–] _____@lemm.ee 38 points 3 months ago (2 children)

"using artificial intelligence"

oh, so it's completely worthless

[–] funnything@lemmings.world 22 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Nordpress is a satirical website. It's the belgian the onion.

[–] nossaquesapao@lemmy.eco.br 3 points 3 months ago

Now everything makes sense

[–] lennivelkant@discuss.tchncs.de 11 points 3 months ago

That, or they opted to use buzzwords to secure funding from investors more willing to buy into the hype than actually interested about the research.

Or it's just a joke, playing off of that trope or scientific headlines to make a caricature of Musk.

[–] 9point6@lemmy.world 19 points 3 months ago (3 children)

Weird, why am I getting Bezos vibes when everyone else sees Elon

[–] metaStatic@kbin.earth 39 points 3 months ago

I see a white and gold dress

[–] ptz@dubvee.org 14 points 3 months ago

Please don't let this be the next "the dress" lol. It's too creepy to see posted everywhere.

[–] Phoenicianpirate@lemm.ee 17 points 3 months ago

Elon Musk without hair looks like a smarmy ancient Egyptian bureaucrat who is way in over his head and ends up being executed shortly after being told to perform a routine task.

[–] infinite_ass@leminal.space 6 points 3 months ago

I would normally kneejerk at any mention of Christianity but since it's our favorite whipping boy I'll go with it.

[–] CreatingMachines@fedia.io 6 points 3 months ago
[–] fire86743@lemmygrad.ml 4 points 3 months ago

Inshallah, Elon is the Judas to Trump's Jesus.

[–] AnarchoBolshevik@lemmygrad.ml 1 points 3 months ago (1 children)

I think that the comparison to Judas Iscariot is unfair. Judas got dealt a lousy hand in life, having to play the role of a snitch to fulfill a divine prophecy. He suffered pangs of conscience for betraying J.C., so he unsuccessfully tried to return the blood money that he received. He was so upset with the situation that he hanged himself. (That instantly makes me think of the M*A*S*H theme.)

Judas Iscariot is better than Elon Musk in every way imaginable. It's not even a contest.

[–] OldWoodFrame@lemm.ee 1 points 3 months ago

Matthew says he hanged himself, Luke (in Acts) says he...bought a field and burst open in it.

Acts 1 18:

"With the payment he received for his wickedness, Judas bought a field; there he fell headlong, his body burst open and all his intestines spilled out"

Doesn't change your point really I just think it's a fun inconsistency to think about. One option so much weirder than the other.
