You know, I kinda like this Biden guy. If only someone had given him a solid 2/3 Senate majority.

Hoping with Alabama we can flip the House.
Cool. Now do every hidden fee. Hotels, restaurants, mechanics, phone bills. If something is advertised as $100, it should be $100.
What a non story.
Ticketmaster didn't lower their prices they just flipped a switch to unhide them.
Biden didn't actually do anything, the move was voluntary on Ticketmasters part.
We all know Ticketmaster adds $30+ to the ticket price in fees and could adjust accordingly. What we care about is that Ticketmaster is a monopoly and can set the prices at whatever they want. Or that they charge $20+ per beer at shows. Or that they work with scalpers. Or that they already settled a case where they used inflated fees to defraud customers.
No offense @Wilshire, I think the "story" is worth talking about because it's not actually news it's just PR for Ticketmaster. I just wish USAToday would highlight that this is not what we're asking for instead of pitching this as a win.
I think they "volunteered" this transparency under duress, probably more from the public than Washington. This will sweep the main problem under the rug. Congress shouldn't let this be the final note.
