Both things can be true at once. Current events have me feeling more like the guy facing the mountain rather than the guy facing the valley. "Be the change you want to see in the world" is all fine and dandy but it honestly feels like trying to run against the wind in a hurricane. It's hard to argue with the results of being a greedy narcissistic sociopath when the world is literally run by them.

I mean yeah, this post is mask-on so it is benefit-of-the-doubt. I commented too (questioning the "golden age" bit though) and didn't notice until 5 hours later when I saw a (now removed) mask-off post by OP.
