To be fair that's pretty cool, definitely not something to be posting on LinkedIn though.

Have you seen LinkedIn recently? It's pretty much Facebook, I hated it before it got like that and hate it with a passion now.

I don’t mean to be rude, but how is that pretty cool? It’s completely arbitrary and does not relate to 2025 at all?

[–] [email protected] 45 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Obviously it has no relation to the actual time period, but the number 2025 having those properties is mathematically interesting.

It’s completely arbitrary though? 20 + 25 is not the same as 2025—it’s meaningless, no?

It feels like the mathematical equivalent of a low tier pun.

That's 45^2. Which is 2025

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Yes, 20+25 is 45. I don’t know, maybe I just don’t get the significance of 45² = 2025

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 months ago

There is no significance, it’s just a fun coincidence.

I love me a low tier pun

[–] [email protected] 20 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Which is wild because all you need is just 45^2^

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 months ago (1 children)

So we can do this all again in 2124 then.

Or 2048 if you’re fun with exponents (2^11^)

Principal at Nvidia definitely makes you a multi-millionaire unless you don't know how to manage your money

He's been there for only a year. Probably a single digit millionaire at most if he invested his money well since he worked at Apple before , but he didn't benefit like many long time employees who received significant NVidia stock payout before they went to the moon.

I don’t want bad luck, I’d better forward this on just in case.

That's Numberwang! Rotate the board!

Which is like just barely enough to get by in the Bay Area.
