Papers over the many, many things they both were not right about. Clinton especially - whatever bad decisions Harris made, and she certainly made bad decisions, she was also dealt a bad hand. Clinton had a decade of planning and still screwed the pooch.

Do you realize that when you criticize Hillary and Kamala for running a "bad" campaign, you're implying that Trump ran a good one?

Ya think maybe, just maybe the thing Kamala and Hillary have in common that America rejected is the obvious answer?

No.

If I play a terrible game of chess, just absolute dogshit, and lose, that doesn't necessarily mean my opponent played well. They could miss a checkmate 10 times in a row. They could sacrifice their queen for no gain. They could leave themselves open and only be spared by the barest fate of wandering attention failing to see any number of perfect attacks against them.

Ya think maybe, just maybe the thing Kamala and Hillary have in common that America rejected is the obvious answer?

Their lack of charisma? A tempting thought, but no. Their moderate politics? A popular position on here, but not really what I'd buy.

What Kamala and Hillary truly had in common is that they campaigned before an audience of malicious idiots. And malicious idiots always prefer their own.

Literally no. Pug criticizes trump plenty. If there is someone that isn't doing that it's them.

No one is or should be above criticism. No one. But those who only find time to criticize very specific people without balance. Ignoring certain ones that are just as bad or worse should be called out.

Both of them decided to have huge rallies in Texas and outright ignored some states like Michigan. Trump actually went there. Lied to their faces like he does to everyone, but still went there. That tells me that whomever has been running the Democratic campaigns are incompetent and don't realise where you should spend the money in order to win.

Having to pick up from Biden rather last minute kind of screwed that pooch. However I don't think that particular pooch screwing was the worst part of it.

The Israel/Gaza thing was a no win situation, The more I look at the situation I think there was some vote rigging in the swing states.

I'm also not even sure that misogyny didn't play a large role in it. The amount of bros out there and even blue areas is staggering.

There's really only one way to measure how successful a campaign is - by how many votes they got. By that measure, Trump's campaign was better than Hillary's and Kamala's.

The first step to learning from mistakes is to recognize what those mistakes were. If you insist their campaigns were perfect, if you want to do the exact same thing again in 2028, you'll end up getting the same results.

They were both right about almost everything.
Discounting the cowards who refused to vote for either of them because they are women, the single-issue voters who refused to vote for Clinton because of that email nonsense were fucking wrong, because trump has already done so much worse. The single-issue voters who refused to vote for Harris because of the “genocide Joe” connection are wrong, because trump is so much worse.

[–] [email protected] 16 points 1 month ago

They lost because they're rich conservatives who ran on "orange man bad"

[–] [email protected] 10 points 1 month ago

The party that ran all those candidates and refused to pass legislation to prevent what is occuring now is much worse. Nobody is coming to save you. You're gonna have to strap up them boots and other things.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 1 month ago

Single issue voters got us to where we are today, and I genuinely think they do more harm than the cult itself.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 1 month ago (2 children)

Yes, the voters were wrong, not the people whose sole job is to convince voters.

The rich racist spawns of pure evil lost. Maybe the world is worse for it, maybe not. Stop running the literal embodiments of evil and then claim people didn't like them because they were women.

No one gives a fuck what's in their pants. Clinton is as racist as Trump and Harris is as evil.

Doubt

Clinton is as racist as Trump and Harris is as evil.

You gotta be outta your goddamn mind to believe that.

People, the average American voter apparently, are just dumb as hell honestly. Like straight up I think the people voting for Trump just got brainwashed and live in an alternate reality because their media literacy and just ... Comprehension of reality and complex topics ... Is really really bad. That or they're just actual shitty people who believe in his policies and opinions. I'm not sure which is worse.

If you're under 20, I get it, but anyone 30 or older that has paid attention to use politics knows what kind of absolutely evil demon Hillary Clinton is. The damage her husband and even her own actions as first lady did to the black and Hispanic communities cannot be overstated.

And no, Harris was never going to be elected by the acab party, as a cop that specifically campaigned to keep people off of probation and in jail in order to help out the prison labor industry in California. She's evil, and she's a terrible dem nominee this century.

I'm sorry you think you know better than natives because you hear propaganda, but those two people were terrible humans, and especially terrible candidates for anything but a far right party.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 month ago

The rich racist spawns of pure evil are currently in office, how did they lose?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 month ago

I don’t like this timeline.

Y'all delusional wackos blithely supporting fascism and genocide are a major reason that the state is fascist.
